It looks like there is definitely a lot to be excited about in Series 4!
But like many of you, I have absolutely no interest in Transformers and I sincerely hope that Hasbro keeps the lines seperate.

They will keep them seperate (other than the big battle pack). There are clearly 2 seperate boosters, one for each. It's like a toy version of Mounds & Almond Joy... It was painfully obvious that I was the only SW guy there who really cared about the Attacktix. This is what blows my mind.....collectors have not given these things a chance. I'm guilty of this as well for I'm about 3 weeks new to Attacktix.

Yet the boosters still fly off the shelf! That's all that matters to ensure the survival of the line. There may not be many of us, but we aren't shy about opening our wallets!

Not at all…. In fact, it just seems really strange to me that someone wouldn’t like to have a transformer attackix collection. Ive been waiting for them sense I first heard about them. Then color me odd. I really only enjoy Star Wars, and the Intergalactic Showdown Battle Pack will give me all of the figures I want from the Transformers line. And though I used to enjoy GI Joe as a kid, I've not maintained any abiding interest in them beyond nostalgia. Thus, I'm only gonna partake of the Star Wars line for the foreseeable future. I completely agree with you and SFX5000 on this one. I grew up with Transformers, but I am only into Star Wars Attacktix. Although the Intergalactic Battle Pack does look pretty cool and will probably HOOK me onto Transformers once I get it. I am guessing that the series are getting smaller because they are running out of figures and ideas to do for Star Wars, and with the release now of Transformers and future other lines, they probably will have limited shelf space for each Attacktix line. Just a guess.

Just a guess. Running out of ideas? They could do an entire Hoth wave assortment, Jabbas wave, more Aliens and Bounty Hunters (re-visit Bossk and give him a Claw strike attack), Re-do Clone troopers (more like series 3 Stormtroopers Hasbro has just started...there's still tons for them to do

I thought GI-Joe attacktix were more speculation on our part rather than something to really look forward to. I am still not buying the "Only 14 on the booster" Look here... i45.photobucket.com/albums/f68/attacktixtf2006/Star%20Wars%20Series%204/S4Booster.jpgThere are two on the bottom row, and a large image, above the image are TWO figures. There are 4 rows of 4 (16) and 2 at the bottom. This still might be every figure in the set (18) but there are definitely 18 figures on the side... and again, they are TF figures, not SW. For Gorilla Grod's sake, somebody at Toy Fair take a clear picture of the side of the booster. I dont know Joe, I think there may be an optical illusion going on with the corner of the bent plastic of the booster, kind of bending the image of the last column of the 4 rows. I dont know if that made any sense... But what Im trying to say is, I think that may be 4 rows of 3, and the furthest right column may be altered visually by the bent plastic thats surrounds it, making it appear to be 4 rows of 4.

There is definately a whole series worth of Hoth, Bespin and most of the whole Emp strikes back that they can do yet. We will just have to wait and see and be thankful for whatever we do get.

I'm thinking that slave Leia's weapon might work like this... You shoot it (of course) and a) it will hit and knock down figures like any shooter b) if you are able to 'hook' a figure or have the hook part land behind a figure(s) and then yank the string back toward Leia causing that figure(s) to be dragged/fall over and possible crash into other figures. With practice it might be possible to shoot it over a group of opposing figures snag someone in the back of the formation and drag them to the front knocking over and disturbing the rest of the formation. Could be a pretty cool attack. I agree with you completely! This might be an AWESOME figure and tactic for disposing of those Yodabreaker bunch groups. Lob this bad boy behind a group of 3 or 4 figures and knock them all down at once??? I LIKE it! (Anything that disrupts YodaBreakers tactics!)

Here's my guess for SW Attacktix Series 4: 4.01 - AT-ST Driver (R) 4.02 - Endor Rebel Trooper (R) 4.03 - Ewok (R) 4.04 - Heavy Stormtrooper (R) 4.05 - Imperial Officer (R)* 4.06 - Admiral Ackbar (SR) 4.07 - Boba Fett (SR) 4.08 - Grand Moff Tarkin (SR) 4.09 - Logray (SR) 4.10 - Han Solo - Endor Trenchcoat (SR) 4.11 - IG-88 (SR) 4.12 - Luke Skywalker - Jedi/Endor Poncho (SR) 4.13 - Princess Leia - Slave Bikini with Barge Gun (SR) 4.14 - Wicket (SR) 4.15 - Luke Skywalker - Farmboy (Starter) 4.16 - Darth Vader (Starter) 4.17 - Ben Kenobi (Starter) 4.18 - Tusken Raider (Starter) 4.19 - Luke Skywalker - Farmboy (Crossover Exclusive) 4.20 - Darth Vader (Crossover Exclusive) * This could wind up being a named officer like Piett and become a SR instead (1) These were the figures displayed with no game text on them. (2) There are 18 figures in the "set." I'm not sure if this is supposed to include the cross-over pack figures, though. I'm assuming that this doesn't, but who knows. I could see 4 additional booster figures using old sculpts; from the pictures, there was a Han Solo, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and a regular Stormtrooper there floating around on the same shelf. (3) The cross-over package lists the 2 small SW figures as exclusive to the set; that tells me that they are carry-over sculpts with a completely carry-over AT-RT (game text included). (4) Set comes out in August, so we have ~5 months to finish collecting S3. (5) The set obviously has a RotJ theme to it. (6) Big missing characters, through the first 4 sets (that have been used in SW Minis, except Zuckuss): - Zam
- Aurra
- Dash
- Mara
- Guri
- Xizor
- Lobot
- Kyle
- Nien Nunb
- Dengar
- Luminara
- Aayla
- Qui-Gon
- Asajj
- Saesee Tiin
- Quinlan Vos
- Durge
- Lando
- Zuckuss
- 4-LOM

I would put Lando and Qui-Gon at the TOP of that list!
