Ok...not to sound negative, but I'm a little disillusioned when I see Star Wars vs Transformers. I'm not a Transformer fan. So I hope they keep these 2 lines sold separately. I don't want to buy a Star Wars booster pack and get Transformers. I hope Hasbro sells them separately. It's fine if they have the Intergalactic Showdown boosters, so long as they clearly indicate if it's Star Wars or Transformers in the package. I'm not into Transformers whatsoever. Anyone else feel the same?

There is no mention of the commons in the new series. They may no longer be in the boosters. I do hope they still exist, maybe in a see-through booster-building kit?? I don’t mind much the lack of commons. And I really really like the idea of having a clear pack of army building commons. Hmm... just rares and super-rares. It's like going to a store and they only have a Medium and an Extra-Large drink (which I have seen before) Makes no sense, so I will hold out hope for a common pack! Thats like when I go into subway, the only sizes they have are medium, large and extra large. How that is different than small medium and large is far beyond me. Perhaps there is a industry standard to how much liquid a small drink may hold.... And their "small" medium is over that amount? Bah, now Im over thinking it I guess the rares would become commons and the super rares become rares. As far as the boosters I think they will be no more sercet figures you'll get to see which ones you buy. No more mini christmas, but it will cost less to get the compelte set and no more open boxes According to the hasbro press release, the boosters are still blind.

Ive been waiting for them sense I first heard about them. But really for me, Im going to buy any and all attacktix versions that are released. Star wars, transformers, GI-Joe, Barbie, bratz….. How cool would it be to shoot one of those weird looking brat chicks in the face with a megatron blast?… Maybe its just me… P.S. Beast wars ruled… But megatron as a t-rex, kinda seemed like blasphemy

If they do a Barbi Attacktix...I will sell all of my Attacktix for $1 on ebay just out of spite and loss of respect for Hasbro. (just kidding) BUT.....I'd never go to my local Target and walk out with Barbie Attacktix.

Anyone else feel the same? Not at all…. In fact, it just seems really strange to me that someone wouldn’t like to have a transformer attackix collection. Ive been waiting for them sense I first heard about them. Then color me odd. I really only enjoy Star Wars, and the Intergalactic Showdown Battle Pack will give me all of the figures I want from the Transformers line. And though I used to enjoy GI Joe as a kid, I've not maintained any abiding interest in them beyond nostalgia. Thus, I'm only gonna partake of the Star Wars line for the foreseeable future.

I'm also sticking to the Star Wars camp. Perhaps when they make the Transformers I grew up with in the 80's (the real ones ) I'll pick up one or two just for fun and nostalgia but I just can't get into these new ones. Plus I spend enough money on one line now as it is.

I hear ya on the money end of it. I cant believe I haven’t heard about it from my girlfriend yet. But the money part of it is also why it makes me glad to read in the Hasbro press release that there will be only 18 new star wars and 18 transformer attacktix. That way, perhaps I wont have to spend twice as much to buy both of them.

Due to the shortage of Star Wars attacktix in New York ( still no series 3 ) I probly will only get the Transformers when Star Wars is temperary out of stock.

A few points: 1- How do you figure the rarity system will work? If there were 7 rare and 7 super rare,...they would be equally rare. I'm going to guess that there will be 4 rare and 10 super rare (+4 figures only available in starter or intergalactic pack =18).
2- I hope I find some friends w/ transformers. I would enjoy playing against their play mechanics, but I know I will not be buying any transformers myself.
3- I wonder how Hasbro will run tournaments w/ transformers. I do hope they will run two tournaments independently.
4- I also question how often moderators on Joe's site here will have to delete or move posts to the transformers page, as we've all become so accustomed to posting on the top option "Star Wars". -Radar

The reduction in the number of SW figures in Series 4 may just be a production issue at Hasbro. The new TF line required all new tooling, and if you add something like 18 new TF figures with 12-14 new (not repaint) SW Series 4 figures, you're at about the total number of truly new figs we got for SW Series 2 or Series 3. It also seems likely that the bases for both SW and TF would be produced on the same line - only the stickers and the printing on the bottoms are different. So, we get a total of about 36 TF + SW Series 4 figs, in line with SW Series 1-3. I for one would have preferred a complete Series 4, even if it meant waiting until after the TF tix were released.
I'd sure like a Series 3 booklet, too, but it appears Hasbro's decided we don't really need one.

There are 4 rows of 4 (16) and 2 at the bottom. This still might be every figure in the set (18) but there are definitely 18 figures on the side... and again, they are TF figures, not SW. For Gorilla Grod's sake, somebody at Toy Fair take a clear picture of the side of the booster.

A quick reply, I just got back from Toy Fair (check it out at thejawa.com) and it's not easy to get a clear shot of the side of the booster. It was on a wall behind rows of Attacktix and I couldn't get a decent shot from the side myself (and I tried). It was painfully obvious that I was the only SW guy there who really cared about the Attacktix. In fact, I'm probably the first person who saw Series 4 outside of the design team, since that's what I went for first.
I obviously couldn't get any info on new abilities or how the rarity is going to work with 2-packs. Hasbro's showroom was filled with interns and marketing reps, not the design team, and Attacktix is even more complicated since it is both a toy and a game. In fact, the info you guys got in the press releases was more than what I got in the showroom.
Having gotten the bad stuff out of the way, I was just so utterly thrilled to see Attacktix Series 4 in person (I've only found six boosters of Series 3 so far, so I needed more of an Attacktix fix). I think they look awesome, I LOVE the Ewok with the boulder. I can't believe we have to wait until August, but something tells me they will hit before that time. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me and I'll see if I can give you answers.
