I have seen that. I have two bodyguards and oddly enough, one of them is exactly as you described. The other, however is a freakin' powerhouse of a swinger! If I position that stick just right, I can send those Jedi's packin' home to mama.
Usually though, I just include them as fodder to get blown up so I can take a few extra whacks with Grievous. Even with all my drool over this weapon, I can still take out a clumb of figures!

Has anyone actually sent in a defective figure yet, and received a whole booster in exchange? I have finally managed to get a replacement for my busted Ki Adi Mundi and want to send him back, but not if I have to send back three figures.

I have an envelope on the way to send back one of my Grievous Bodyguards. I have two and one has the "jelly legs" as has been described earlier and it locks up on the swing. It's really unusable especially when compared to my other one.

Same thing happened with my obi and shaak ti. Try loading the projectile in different ways and find the sweet spot. For example, my obi-wan will only fire a strong shot if the biggest of the three "curves" of the projectile is turned pointing down. Shaak ti's must be loaded so its on the right. Also, it helps to raise his arm as high as it can go to give more distance. Never shoot at the enemies base with these guys. You don't need to. And btw, my Grievous bodyguard, though unwieldly, can kick some major buttocks.

My force push Obi Wan is piss weak also. So is my Bail Organa. I think it's just bad luck with some springs. On the plus side, I have a secret weapon battle droid that is the most awesome shooter that I've got. It can shoot powerfully and accurately from the other side of a 3 1/2 board nearly every time, and at a guess, I'd say it's about 50% more powerful than my other shooters. Hmmm. Another thread topic perhaps?

And speaking of figure problems. My Darth Vader #16 shat out some kind of small rubber band. I've got to look into his diet. Look, I'm quoting myself. So after the Vader pooping I got another one. He was going fine untill last night when... you guessed it, his rubber band came out of the base. What is it with the Darth Vaders and their rubber bands?? Joe posted an article on his site where he disceted a tix. He stated that if a rubber band comes free it won't affect you tix in any major way, the wheel will just be a little 'loose'. This isn't entirely true. It still ticks but it is an uneven affair at best. The red/black window on top does't change at an even interval. It will be red/red/black/red/black/black, etc. (you get the idea). If the red/black isn't changing correcty I hate to think what is happining with the white window on the bottom. It looks like I'm going to have to shell out for my 3rd Vader!!! And I may have to change my screen name to 'VaderSh*tt#r' !

some people may have been lucky with figures not having problems but just reading a few that have on here tells me thats a few too many!

My armored Vader's hand has fallen out. I tried to replace it with my favorite glue (GOOP), but I failed. I am now considering taking a soldering iron to it and see if I can forge them together. -Radar

It may not work on the actual striking arm/saber but for just the hand I bet it would help it stay.

I'm with Phoenix here. Somehow a soldering iron seems like it would be Attacktix kryptonite. It's amazing how many problems there are with Armored Vader. Maybe it's just because he gets used more often?

I've also considered getting a REALLY small screw and attaching the saber arm that way. In the back of my mind I can't help but feel that heat is the way to go. It worked on my army men as a kid...those poor sad little men. -Radar
