So, I can replace the Gold KAM in the Backups with regular old KAM, and then I'll need to replace the other Gold KAM that starts the match. Plus, Gold KAM is worth only 20 points, so there's actually 40 points to play with here - any suggestions David?

Which interesting team of mine were you referring to? The Dooku-Sabertooth recovering combo, or the Rebel Strike (or possibly a Spare [but no gutterballs]) team?
;D
That last game sounded like it was really good! It just goes to show how a bit of bad luck regarding specials can overpower an otherwise good team.

I don't have enough Dookus/Sabertooths to make that recover team... have to get more or come up with good subs for that one.

Oh I wasn't aware of that rule... I though it only applied to silver turny figs.
Ok here's the revised-revised team
Jed-Heads ("we're so good we we're illegal")
x1 Gold KAM (20) x4 Jedi Knight (70) x1 Kit Fisto (90) x2 Mace Windu S1 (150) x1 Shaak Ti (190) x1 S2 starter Clone Trooper (200)
Back Ups;
x1 S1 KAM

As noted before x1 Gold KAM is
only 20 points,
so you could add another knight, or remove a knight and add kit fisto or some such arrangement.
Another good option would be to free up 10 points somewhere else and add Tion Medon, his special works nicely with Jedi's and can be a serviceable striker in his own right.

Another tournament rule is a max of 5 of any one figure, so I'll probably swap out a JK for Kit Fisto or add a clone trooper or something like that. I also only have one S1 Mace, but I have a S2 Mace Striker with Rally special, so I'll use that instead.

Yes indeed it is, should have checked and he did already have the max of 5. I might go with Tion as he has a good Jedi friendly special.

Try this:
Name! We don't need no stinkin' name!
S2 starter Obi Wan Kenobi X1 S2 Gold Based Nute Gunray X1 S2 General Grievous striker X1 S1 General Grievous shooter X1 Tournament Luke X1 Rebel Troopers X2 S1 Grievous Body Guards X3 Sabertooth X1
I had sucess with this team the other day. If you don't have a tounament Luke, just use a normal S3 Luke and pretend that he is tournament.

Turkish Van Cat has suggested the next team (the bowling team actually!). I only had one R2-D2 so I subbed in 2 R2-Q5s instead and then also changed the back-ups a little as I didn't have everyone that was suggested. Champions: "Draaka's Empire" (Draaka's suggested team)Played By: Cona ChrisBiker Scout (SW4/1) x2 Count Dooku (SW1/11) x1 Darth Vader (SW4/11) x2 Darth Vader (SW1/32) x1 Emperor (SW1/24) x1 Scout Trooper (SW2/4) x1 Stormtrooper (SW3/1) x2 Backups: None Challengers: "Rebel Strike Team" (Turkish Van Cat's suggested team)Played By: Cona ChrisKit Fisto (SW2/27) x1 Luke as Stormtrooper (SW3/28) x1 Luke Skywalker (T/7) x1 Luke Skywalker (SW2/29) x1 Luke Skywalker (SW3/21) x2 Princess Leia (SW2/14) x1 R2-D2 (SW2/21) x1 R2-Q5 (SW3/30) x2 Backups: Biggs Darklighter (SW3/26) x1 Han Solo (SW4/20) x1 Han Solo on Hoth (SW5/19) x1 Luke Skywalker (SW2/29) x1 The Champions went first and kept two clusters of figures on the left and right sides of the board while one SW4/11 Vader, the S1 Starter Vader, and Dooku moved up the middle in a tripod formation. Both Biker scouts failed to knock anyone over. For the Challengers first turn, they broke up into two groups and were outside the range of the strikers, so they clustered together for protection from the launchers. Princess Leia was aiming for the Scout Trooper (attackback for a Trooper) but instead got a Biker Scout, who came up white (attackback for an Empire figure). DISASTER for the Challengers! SW4/11 Vader moved up and got to within a couple tix of the group with Princess Leia in it. Unfortunately, the only other launcher was Luke as Stormtrooper, who was on the other side of the board. He had a bad angle to shoot with, but I had to try anyway and missed. Starter Vader and Dooku moved into position against the Challengers to be ready to strike on the next turn. SW4/11 Vader then moved in for the strike as I was probably drooling with anticipation of getting a whack at a cluster of 5 figures. I reached back and... DISASTER for the Champions as Vader's arm snapped off! I was so bummed. I wasn't sure what the proper ruling is for this case, and went to the Honorable Attacktix Judge (my wife). The HAJ ruled that a substitute figure would be allowed in place of the Vader that broke - so luckily I happened to have one more SW4/11 Vader (thanks DoNP - you saved the day!). So the new Vader hoped off the shuttlecraft and got into the game as quickly as he could and wound up and caused major damage - he knocked over an R2-Q5, Kit Fisto (white), Leia, and SW3 Luke. Bad break for the Challengers with Leia and Luke BOTH being black. The lone survivor of that cluster was a S2 Luke, who was gunned down by the Scout Trooper. He was white, and Tournament Luke flung Dooku across the board (white of course). Tournament Luke knocked Starter Vader (white - a Stormie was sacrificed) and Luke as Stormtrooper sent Dooku off the board (he was black this time). SW3 Luke then got the jet-lagged Vader who was black. The other SW4/11 Vader got the Luke, but was black... another though blow for the Challengers. Those ever impressive Biker Scouts caught Luke as ST in the chest, sending him toppling over - he was white, and was replaced by another S2 Luke. With only 2 figures left that could attack (Tournament Luke and S2 Luke), they attempted to bowl their droids to cause more damage than just merely striking (striking would have left them very vulnerable to attack from another striker). Unfortunately, Luke isn't the best bowler and the lightsaber moved up when I swung both times, causing the droids to get knocked over ever so gently. SW4/11 Vader moved in to take care of S2 Luke (black - at 62% that sucks!) and then the Scout Trooper fired a bolt into Tournament Luke ending the game. Bad breaks all around for the Challengers - this match was just an absolute slaughter. It was similar to the beat downs that I bestow upon my 13-year old nephew after he prances around so proudly after demolishing my 8-year old niece in Attacktix (and yes, I enjoy giving those very much! Stat..................................Champions...............ChallengersFigures Left Standing..................6...........................0......... Attacks..............................6 of 8 (75%)............7 of.8 (88%) Scores (Kills)*..........................9..........................7........ Special Powers........................3............................4......... Special Powers Expected........2.15........................5.46......... Special Powers Used................3...........................3............ MATCH MVP: The S4/11 Darth Vaders that took out 4 figures on Turn #2 - (although that was mainly thanks to the Biker Scout's special). Injury update: My SW4/11 Vader got glued up with some superglue. The Medic Droid has cleared him for light exercise and he will rejoin his teammates again soon. Draaka suggested 3 more teams, but I don't want to put his up against each other if I have other teams. So I'll move onto David Skywalker's team (Jed-Heads) next.

Chris, can you put together a matrix of all these teams (I think you probably have already LOL) and their records? I think I want in on this deal - I will see which of the winningest teams work out against one another!

Guys, you can forget about these teams. I have the one to end all teams, but I don't think Chris can play them...he doesn't have 4 Obi Wan Series 2 Starters, or 4 Gold Clone Troopers.... ;D
