You might even consider switching out Mystique for another Grievous (more leader support) or another Venom.

Below are the results for the 6th Title Defense for the Deceptiteeth. I played with the Superfly at his casa last week. It's not a perfect match since we have different strengths in our game, but on the whole we both win about the same amount of the time against each other. We played a bunch of games last Wednesday and the details of what happened when are fuzzy, but the stats of course are accurate since I wrote those down for the Tix Tool. This will be the first of three title matches we had - I'll post the others later to give everyone time to comment/etc. on each one. Champion: "Deceptiteeth"Played By: Cona ChrisBattle Ravage (TF1/6) x4 Decepticlone (TF1/3) x1 Decepticlone (P1/1) x2 Grand Moff Tarkin (SW4/16) x1 Megatron (TF1/17) x1 Sabertooth (M1/22) x2 Backups: Imperial Officer (SW4/8) x1 - in case S1 Anakin comes up black Megatron (TF1/16) x1 Megatron (TF2/20) x1 VS.Challenger: "Kenobi Clones"Played By: SuperflytntClone Trooper (Republic) (SW1/4) x3 Clone Trooper (Empire) (SW2/3) x2 Clone Trooper (Yellow) (SW2/36) x1 Endor Scout (SW4/2) x2 Jedi Knight (SW2/1) x1 Obi-Wan Kenobi (SW2/38) x3 Tion Medon (SW2/22) x1 Kenobi's Clones went first (I think Superfly went first every match that night!). The Kenobis moved in targeting the leaders on the team (Megatron and Tarkin). Tarkin was killed first, but was white so at least he took Tion with him thanks to Vengeance power. The next turn Megatron went down and was black, which was a killer for the Champions. I tried to advance my strikers into the group of troopers to take them out so that I could kill off the Kenobis, but went I'd get into range, a Kenobi with his multi-kill ability was easily able to pick them off. Without a leader, the Saberteeth were vulnerable, and none of the Battle Ravages came up white. So, I tried going after the Kenobis who kept getting back up time after time. I did manage to get one Battle Ravage back into the troopers for a big multiple kill there, but it was too little too late. This match was just an absolute slaughter with 8 of the 13 figures on the Challengers still standing at the end! Pete played the Kenobi Clones very well - I'm not sure what I could have done except gotten lucky with Kenobi coming up black... although stupid Megatron Jet being white would have been nice (he could have taken out some troopers from long range). Kenobi Clones had 5 specials come up white (expected 5.00!) and used all 5. All were Kenobi. The Deceptiteeth had 4 specials (expected 4.54) but could only use 2. One of the Kenobi's was the MVP with 6 kills on 3 strikes (and he was white 3 times). It was a great run for the Deceptiteeth with 5 successful defenses. Will Kenobi Clones be as successful? (P.S. Part of me is glad to see the Deceptiteeh's run end because I have a very hard time spelling that name!)

And thus the Deceptiteeth finally meet their match. They lasted for a really good long while though. I wish I could play in a tournament. I've thought of a 200 point mixed-universe team, but I don't want to divulge it's composition or my secret strategy that goes with it.

Below are the results for the 1st Title Defense for the Kenobi Clones. We played a bunch of games the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the details of what happened when are fuzzy, but the stats of course are accurate since I wrote those down for the Tix Tool.
This will be the second of three title matches we had - I'll post the others later to give everyone time to comment/etc. on each one.
Champion: "Kenobi Clones" Played By: Superflytnt Clone Trooper (Republic) (SW1/4) x3 Clone Trooper (Empire) (SW2/3) x2 Clone Trooper (Yellow) (SW2/36) x1 Endor Scout (SW4/2) x2 Jedi Knight (SW2/1) x1 Obi-Wan Kenobi (SW2/38) x3 Tion Medon (SW2/22) x1
VS.
Champion: "Team Grievous" Played By: Cona Chris General Grievous (SW1/28) x2 General Grievous (SW2/24) x2 Grievous Bodyguard (SW2/6) x2 Grievous Bodyguard (SW1/13) x3 Imperial Officer (SW3/9) x1 Nute Gunray (SWG1/1) x1 R2-Q5 (SW3/30) x1
The Champions went first. The JK sent one of the clones crashing into the Challengers early on, taking out Nute (before any Droid Army figures were defeated). The Challengers focuses on trying to get rid of the troopers since Pete's "Ever-Recover OBKs" caused such a problem for me in the last match. However, this meant that the OBKs could run amok and get multiple kills, which they did. The Grievous strikers and launchers were targeted next. One striker came up white so the Champs lost an OBK that way.
The Challengers used some of their free attacks to take some swipes at OBKs but they ended up being white more often than not. Grievous ended up demanding a refund on his R2-Q5 unit, which came up green only once out of four tries. That hurt the Challengers being able to get back into the enemy lines to get the clones (troopers).
The match turned out to be pretty close, with only an OBK and the two Endor Troopers surviving for the Champions. Kenobi Clones had 4 specials activate (3.31 expected) and were able to use all 4. The Challengers had 5 (4.85 expected) but could only use 3. One of the Grievous Strikers was the MVP (for the losing team!) as he got 2 scores and was able to vengeance an OBK.
Up next for the Champions, the "Teddy Bear Alliance"...

Below are the results for the 2nd Title Defense for the Kenobi Clones. Superfly and I played a bunch of games the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the details of what happened when are fuzzy, but the stats of course are accurate since I wrote those down for the Tix Tool.
Champion: "Kenobi Clones" Played By: Superflytnt Clone Trooper (Republic) (SW1/4) x3 Clone Trooper (Empire) (SW2/3) x2 Clone Trooper (Yellow) (SW2/36) x1 Endor Scout (SW4/2) x2 Jedi Knight (SW2/1) x1 Obi-Wan Kenobi (SW2/38) x3 Tion Medon (SW2/22) x1
VS.
Challenger: "Teddy Bear Alliance" Played By: Cona Chris Imperial Officer (SW3/9) x1 Logray (SW4/7) x3 R2-Q5 (SW3/30) x2 Venom (SM1/3) x3 Wicket (SW4/3) x5
Backups (in case of S1 Anakin being black): Beast (M/6) x2 Imperial Officer (SW3/9) x1 New Goblin (SM1/4) x1
The Teddy Bear Alliance (TBA) went first. It's been over two weeks so unfortunately my memory of this match has been mostly lost. But from the stats I can say that neither side got cheated when it came to special powers! TBA won in a rout, with 7 of their 14 figures surviving at the end.
TBA had 6 specials (expected 2.77) and used all 6. Two Wickets and the Imperial Officer were white which really helped in this match. The Champions had 10 specials (expected 8.62) and were able to use 9. Two of the three Kenobis came up white twice and the third came up white three times. Both of the S2 Clone Troopers (the Red Empire faction) were white!
One of the Wickets was the MVP with 7 kills in 5 attacks.
Kenobi Clones enjoyed a brief title reign with one successful defense, but now must give way to the Teddy Bear Alliance.
TBA is mostly the same team that I won the 200 point open tournament at Superfly's Tournament of the Stars earlier this summer (with a couple small changes).
Up next: Greyelephant's Rebel team. Turkish Van Cat has also suggested a team, but all my venoms are currently with the champions, so I'll have wait till TBA loses to try out that team.

Below are the results for the 1st Title Defense of the Teddy Bear Alliance. I forgot about Grey Elephant's Rebel team (sorry!) so they get the next title match. I already have the figures set up for the next match - just gotta play it now.
Champion: "Teddy Bear Alliance" Played By: Cona Chris Imperial Officer (SW3/9) x1 Logray (SW4/7) x3 R2-Q5 (SW3/30) x2 Venom (SM1/3) x3 Wicket (SW4/3) x5
VS.
Challenger: "Jedi Strike Force" Played By: Cona Chris Clone Trooper (P1/2) x1 Clone Trooper (SW2/36) x1 Jedi Knight (SW2/1) x5 Ki-Adi-Mundi (SWG1/3) x1 Kit Fisto (SW2/27) x1 Obi-Wan Kenobi (SW2/36) x1 Tion Medon (SW2/22) x3
The Challengers went first. Both clones were arranged behind a wall of Tions and a JK and missed with their shots. On the Teddy Bear Alliance's first shot, Venom thread the needle and hit the yellow clone, and the missile bounced off and hit the green clone knocking them both over! It was a seemingly impossible shot. In retrospect, I perhaps should have added another clone or maybe just made sure the clones couldn't have been hit on turn one since the chances of them actually knocking anything over aren't great with a full length table shot anyway.
Both teams employed the swarm tactic and sent their strikers into the middle of the board all fanned out (except for the Challengers who kept the Tions back near the Starting line). Teams traded whacks and multiple kills with each other. The Teddy Bears avoided Kit and Ki (since their high probability specials would give extra attacks or attackbacks) and the Jedis avoided the Lograys (the double attackback).
One of the Lograys came up huge, getting multiple kills twice - very impressive for a prodder. One of the Venoms was also big, snipping JKs (who stayed back in hopes of getting the Champions to kill KAM) and coming up white twice.
In the end the Venoms and one Wicket were too far away and Kit/Ki had to go after the Lograys - and both came up white, which led to the defeat of the Jedis and their challenge for the title.
The Jedis got 4 specials to come up white (expected 5.31) but were only able to use one (Tion brought OBK back). Only one Tion was white, and Kit and Ki were white but unable to use their powers. I didn't intentionally kill KAM because he and Kit were running amuck without much support, darring to be killed since JKs were in range for the attackbacks, but the Venoms were good at picking off the JKs, foiling that strategy.
The Champions got 4 specials to come up white (expected 3.85) and used all 4. One of the Wickets was the MVP with 6 kills in 5 swings (he was the only Wicket to attack oddly - the rest were just targets).
Up next: Greyelephant's Rebel team. Turkish Van Cat has also suggested a team, but all my Venoms are currently with the champions, so I'll have wait till the Teddy Bear Alliance loses to try out that team.

Below are the results for the 2nd Title Defense of the Teddy Bear Alliance. I am using Grey Elephant's suggested Rebel squad, with some adjustments - I only have 3 Rebel Troopers (he suggested 5) so I subbed in two X-Wing Pilots. I also changed the backups.
Champion: "Teddy Bear Alliance" Played By: Cona Chris Imperial Officer (SW3/9) x1 Logray (SW4/7) x3 R2-Q5 (SW3/30) x2 Venom (SM1/3) x3 Wicket (SW4/3) x5
VS.
Challenger: "My Rebels beat up your honor student" Played By: Cona Chris Chewbacca (SW3/15) x1 Han Solo (SW4/20) x1 Luke Skywalker (T/7) x1 Luke Skywalker (SW3/21) x2 Princess Leia (SW2/14) x1 Rebel Trooper (SW3/4) x3 X-Wing Pilot (SW3/5) x2
Backups: Chewbacca (SW5/22) x1 Han Solo (SW5/19) x1 Luke Skywalker (SW2/29) x1 Wedge (SW3/27) x1
The Challengers went first and got hits with both shots but were not able to knock anyone over. The Lukes marched up the middle in a cluster to move into range of the Teddy Bear Alliance (TBA). TBA fanned out into three main groups, the left and right each contained an R2-Q5 and a Venom and an Ewok (one group also had the Imp Officer). The middle group broke up (didn't cluster) and sent the Lograys forward, hoping to bait the Lukes into attacking for some multiple attackbacks. R2-Q5 was green but a Wicket couldn't get to the Lukes on that turn. On their attacks, one of the Venoms got a Rebel Trooper and he came up white! This wasn't good for the Champions, as a Luke used the free move and attack to just move into range to take out a cluster on the left or right edge (instead of attacking a Logray).
BLAM! One of the Lukes wipes out a cluster on the edge, taking a Venom (black) a Wicket and R2-Q5 down. A Logray (black) also fell. Given that the Lukes were already in the Champions' backyard so to speak, the TBA went after the Lukes, but they were white very time. After a few turns of taking heavy losses, the TBA ventured out after the rest of the Rebels (thanks in large part to the other R2-Q5 and the Wickets). Leia and Chewie went down and were black, so that was a bit of a break for the champs to help offset the eternally white Lukes. The champs got another break when a Luke struck another Logray, and Logray went bouncing head over heels a few times and then safely landing on his base right side up again! I peeked and he was black, so it definitely was a big break.
However, the Lukes just wouldn't stay down, and it was becoming too much for the champs to overcome. Right before Han was defeated, he got a great shot off into one of the Venom's shoulders, knocking him down from about a foot away.
In the end it was a Venom and R2-Q5 against 2 Lukes, 2 Rebel Troopers, and an X-Wing Pilot. The Venom took out the Pilot, who was white. But it was almost disastrous for the champs, as the Rebel Trooper tried to thread the needle between the Lukes at the R2-Q5 and knocked over a Luke! Of course, he was white, so no harm done.
The other Luke took out the Venom (black) and then the other Rebel Trooper (the other one had his firing privileges revoked!) got the R2-Q5, but it was white, so a Wicket came back into play. Wicket was able to avoid getting shot but the troopers and did a good job of killing one Luke and knocking him into the other Luke and pushing them both more than 12 tix away. This lasted for a couple turns, but when the Lukes keep coming up white, it was only a matter of time before he fell.
So "My Rebels beat up your honor student" are the new champions! They had whites come up 13 times (expected 9.15) and could use all 13. The TBA had only 2 specials (expected 4.62) and used both. One of the S3 Lukes and the Tournament Luke shared the MVP honors (2 of the Lukes were white 4 times, the other 3 times). Clearly, this match was heavily impacted by the challengers getting lots of whites and the champions getting lots of blacks, but that's Attacktix!
Up next for "My Rebels beat up your honor student", Turkish Van Cat has suggested a team that has striker Grievouses, Venoms, and Sabertooths which will get the next shot. It's interesting that Venoms and Sabertooths keep coming up a lot on teams in this thread...

Yeah, that sort of Rebel team can get very rough without Vengeance powers or lots of Recovers of your own to take care of the Lukes (hence the sort of "spoiler team" that My Love Is Vengeance was designed to be). But 13 specials...my goodness! I'm not sure that sort of luck could be overcome. You were wise to take out the Wickets before the Lograys, as they're much more fearsome figures while on the playing field. A free move and attack to up to two Lograys isn't fun to contemplate, but it's certainly better than a free move and attack for up to two Wickets!

Wow, that is definitely some amount of luck! 13 specials!? Whew! That's one reason that I put Striker Grievouses on my team. I'm trying to compile a "master team" of 200 points from ebay right now, and I have a feeling that my one striker grievous that will come in the mail in a couple days will not be sufficient for my plans ;D. I just don't know how good his strike is, but I guess I'll find out in a couple days. By the way, thanks for posting these games. They're way fun to read! Thanks!

No problem - glad others are enjoying these matches! I think you'll find the Striker Grievous to have a pretty good swing, but his other saber tends to get "in the way" a lot - I usually just lift up his other saber so that it's out of the way and won't hit my hand during my attack (unless of course the other saber can knock over someone - then I try for the double hit).

;D I definitely agree with you; Striker Grievous does rock. I think there's an easier way to strike with him that, at least with me, gets a little bit more power into his strikes. I think most people attack with his left green saber up and his right blue saber does the actual strike. However, due to the design of his sculpt, he can't move his left hand saber as high as he can move his right saber up, so like you said, it often hits my knuckles and reduces the effectiveness of the strike, even when I try to move the left saber as high as it'll go.
My solution is to turn Grievous around and pull back on his left green saber instead, so that it's like a back hand attack. When striking like that, you can even keep his blue saber down without it getting in the way, or you could raise the blue saber so that there isn't any way that it'll get in the way period.

I just thought of this one, just don't criticize it too bad.
'TEAM STRIKES-ALOT'
S2 #38 Obi Wan Kenobi x2 Gold KAM x1 R2-Q5 x1 R2-D2 x1 Jedi Knight x5 Wicket x5
The thory behind this team is to utlieze the strikers. With the aid of Q5 and Artoo the Jedi can get down the feild and make multiple attacks.
If you play with this squad you need to have Obi Wan and KAM leading the charge with the Knights coming close behind. Hang the Wickets back to protect the droids and to activate Obi's effect.

If you play with this squad you need to have Obi Wan and KAM leading the charge with the Knights coming close behind. Hang the Wickets back to protect the droids and to activate Obi's effect. This team has some good potential they will get the next title shot - however there are only 170 points, so if you want, add 30 pts to the team or if I get to the match before then I'll add 30 to it). Below are the results for the 1st Title Defense of the "My Rebels Beat Up Your Honor Student". I am using Turkish Van Cat's suggested team with one change - instead of Tarkins (I have only one) I used 2 GBGs in his place thereby making it possible for both Grievous' to get their Vengeance special to work. Champion: "My Rebels Beat Up Your Honor Student (Greyelephant's suggested team)"Played By: Cona ChrisChewbacca (SW3/15) x1 Han Solo (SW4/20) x1 Luke Skywalker (T/7) x1 Luke Skywalker (SW3/21) x2 Princess Leia (SW2/14) x1 Rebel Trooper (SW3/4) x3 X-Wing Pilot (SW3/5) x2 Backups: Chewbacca (SW5/22) x1 Han Solo (SW5/19) x1 Luke Skywalker (SW2/29) x1 Wedge (SW3/27) x1 VS.Challenger: "Evil Turks (Turkish Van Cat's suggested team)"Played By: Cona ChrisGeneral Grievous (SW2/24) x2 Grand Moff Tarkin (SW4/16) x1 Grievous Bodyguard (SW1/13) x2 Mystique (M/12) x1 Sabertooth (M/22) x3 Venom (SM1/3) x2 Backups: We don't need no stinkin' backups! The champions went first and missed with their two shots (I let the team that goes second line up however they want as long as they can touch the starting line or be behind it to help eliminate the disadvantage of the team going first getting easy shots on turn one). The Luke triplets raced off towards the challengers, throwing caution to the wind. The Challengers sent out their Sabertooths and one Grievous towards the middle of the board and on their attack came up empty both times as well. On the next turn, the Lukes took out all three Sabertooths but two of them happened to be white so only one figure was lost. Figuring that odds even out in the long run (since the Champions had 13 specials activate last game) the Challengers attacked the Lukes with figures that were on/near the starting line. By doing this, it enabled the 2 remaining Sabertooths and one Grievous to advance into the framework of the Rebels starting line for what hopefully would turn out to be some easy multiple kills the next turn. One S3 Luke and the Tournament Luke went down and BOTH were black!!! Big blow to the Champions there, as they were suddenly down to one striker, and when facing a team with Venoms, you gotta have some strikers. So, the Champs targeted the Sabertooths because they did not want to activate Grievous's special and lose the last Luke striker to his Vengeance special. The Challengers were aware of this fact though, and moved both Grievouses in to attempt to get mulltiple kills (keeping a GBG back protected to activate their special). Eventually the Champs had to attack the Grievous's or else they'd have hardly anybody left but that last Luke. The first Grievous was black, but the other was white, ending Luke's role in the game. In the end, it was Mystique, 2 Venoms, and a GBG against Leia, Han, and 2 troopers and they were all pretty much situated bear the Champions' starting line. Leia went down on the first attack of the turn, and she was white... hmmm what to do? The choices were S5 Han, S5 Chewie, Wedge, and S2 Luke. I opted for S2 Luke because he was a striker (and the Challengers were in range) and also had a high probability of getting an attackback. He snuck onto the starting line right behind a trooper, seemingly safe from the Challengers' second attack on the turn. However, one of the Venoms somehow got a shot off that made it through the trooper's legs and hit Luke just hard enough to nudge him off the board. At least he came up white and Han gunned down the GBG, which was really the only shot he had. However, that was to be the last kill for the Champs as Venom and Mystique were able to pick off Han and the 2 trooper for the championship of the Universe. The Challengers had 4 specials activate (expected 5.85) and used all 4. The Champions had 4 specials activate (expected 3.92) and were able to use 3 - a far cry from the 13 they had last match! One of the Sabertooths was the MVP with 3 kills in 2 attacks (and he recovered twice).
