Ya know, the one thing not a lot of people have mentioned is the Backups for that 100 point team. I think if we're going to talk about which is best, we'd better mention the backups as well as that makes a heck of a difference.
The only reason I mention it is that I've been playing with these teams (except 10x10 as I don't have 10 of the Jedi Knight) and the selection of backups seems to make a HUGE difference in the outcome.

Yeah but not all squads can bring backups in, not that many figures have recrite (am I thinking of the right one?).

Exactly, draaka. Now, one should probably always include a favorite Captain in backups (on the off-chance that your opponent is playing with Anakin Skywalker and he comes up black), but unless this happens or at least one of your figures has a Recruit special power, there's currently no way for your backups to come into play.

I think I've got a pretty good 100-pointer, let me know what you all think: Leia Series 3 - 30 pts. Luke/Stormtrooper - 20 pts. Han/Stormtrooper - 20 pts. Luke Skywalker (Series 3 striker) - 30 pts.
BACKUPS: Chewbacca (Series 2, with Gun) Han Solo (Series 3, with Gun)
Man, this won 4 of 5 matches last night. Luke kept getting up, and when Leia got killed, in comes Han Solo, then Han Solo dies, and in comes Chewie. It was ugly for my buddy who kept trying Droid Army guys.

S3 Leia is only 20 points superflytnt. That means you could throw in a Rebel Trooper or an X-Wing Pilot. ;D

I am mistaken, I meant the S3 Leia as she has the "Put another Rebel In" power. Actually, it's Series 2 Leia that has the Recruit power, and she really is 30 points. The 100 point team I've been playing with lately is six S2 Clone Troopers (the red striped ones) and 2 Clone Sergeants. I guess I see what Radar has been saying - I've had pretty good luck with those clone blasters. The Sergeants stay back until some of the Troopers are defeated, but then that 10 speed is very useful in getting good angles or very close-up shots.

I figured it was about time to revive this thread for Series 4.
Right now, my favorites are:
Jedi Council: Jedi Knight x4 (40 points total) Kit Fisto (20 points) Gold Ki-Adi-Mundi (20 points) Mace Windu (30 points)
Strategy: Should be obvious. Rush and swipe. Hopefully none of the three "leaders" go down early, because if they do, the powers are generally worthless.
AND
Imperial March: Gold Darth Vader (40 points) Grand Moff Tarkin (20 points) S3 Stormtrooper x3 (30 points total) S4 Biker Scout (10 points)
Strategy: Very simple. March your troopers forwards and pick off enemies as they come and then let Vader slice and dice. If Vader's power goes off, it's usually pretty deadly.
AND
Bounty Hunter's Guild: S4 Boba Fett (40 points) S3 Greedo (20 points) IG-88 (30 points) TIE Pilot (10 points)
Strategy: Not one of my better teams but fun to use. Just blast the opponent's figures as you go. An alternate version of this is to take out the TIE Pilot and Greedo for S2 Bossk. Also, I know that the TIE Pilot would be better as a S4 Starter Greedo but I don't own one at the moment.

my team is currently: x1 Commander Bly 30 x1 Red Clone Commander 30 x1 Republic Clone Trooper 10 x1 Seperatist Clone Trooper 10 x1 Clone Sergeant 20
i send in my two clone troopers, and commander bly and clone commander first to pick off the strikers and front lineup shooters. commander bly usually dies first, allowing my clone sergeant in back to move and attack. then i allow my clone commander to die giving my troopers a free attack. then i finally allow my clone troopers to die off( if they havent already killed the other team) and then allow my clone sergeant to die. then my clone troopers are back to life. if in fact, my clone troopers are the first to die, they give both my commanders a free shoot. this team rocks.
