I think it would be better to spread them out. Even if they go down easier, you aren't risking 3 or 4 going down in one shot. A force pusher or striker would be my main concern with a group of small base guys like jedi knights.

A force pusher or striker would be my main concern with a group of small base guys like jedi knights. It depends on the distance from which the shot occurs. If you've got a bunch of Jedi Knights that are a good distance from Force blasters or Grievous bolts, bunching them up is likely to impart enough strength to each figure that they wouldn't be at as great a risk for falling as if they were spread out. However, close up, ya gotta spread 'em out.

A completely different 100 point team:
Bossk (30 pts) Boba Fett (30 pts) 2 Scout Troopers (20 pts)
and then either 2 Grievous Bodyguards (20 pts) or 2 Jedi Knights (20 pts) to provide a little bit of striker support

wall of sabers has been proved to block all but a pointblank fp projectile. Unless, of course, your opponent's got good aim and can take out your rear figures...those'll fall to a well-aimed large missile, and if you're talking about 10-point figures, they might even fall to a small missile. Friggin' evil team, that would be. Boba Fett has made me a wuss about attacking Bounty Hunters first now. One would have to work on Bossk and a Scout Trooper first (to play the special power base rates) with a weak striker (just in case that bloody Capture kicks in), then the other Scout Trooper and Boba, then the two strikers. Still, a darn good team that I respect a lot more since playing it (or a close variant thereof).

2 Palpatines and an Emperor. The Emperor is the lowest costing Sith (20 pts) and Palpatine's effect is that he gets to stand up if there's a Sith in play. Well, the Emperor stands behind the two shielding Palpatines (with their force blasts and all). The Emperor protects the Palpatines and they protect the Emperor. It takes a close, good figure to knock down a Palpatine. When both are down, the figure that knocked the Palpatines down will be close allowing the Emperor to possess them.

The only problem with that team is that Palpatine's special ability doesn't have a very good chance of coming up. Plus, because of his non-adjustable arms, distance shooting is difficult. I'm thinking you should just use one of the large base, 6 speed force pushers, even if the special powers don't work together.
I've noticed people on this board talk about special powers as if they always come up. Sometimes it just doesn't happen.

I've noticed people on this board talk about special powers as if they always come up. Sometimes it just doesn't happen. Amen to that. That's why I prefer to have at least 2 main figures with special powers that come up at least half of the time and that work synergistically with other figures on the team. However, I'm willing to have the special powers of my cannon fodder be improbable. Otherwise, it's extremely difficult to get 10-point figures in anywhere. But what's being neglected in the Palpy-Emperor team is the 20-point Count Dooku, who also has a (low-probability) Recover power. This would probably be a better choice than the Emperor, as the Emperor has no special power at all.

I basically can make any team as long as I use my Yoda. Today, I was versing my friend and thanks to my Yoda's strong saber and small being, I was able to take out more than half my oppenent's sqaud and get it back to where all my other figures where hangin' out. Republic Gunship (70 pts) and Yoda (30 pts) is probably my best 100 pt team. Yoda has a speed of 12 (duh), so when he stays far ahead of the Republic Gunship. But because of the gunship's long teather, when Yoda fails to take out his enemy, the Republic Gunship can recall him.

Well, now that I've got a bunch of Series 2 and have been able to build some teams (okay, 9 of 'em), I've found a couple teams that I like. My 2 best teams are: [glow=red,2,500]Return of the Jedi[/glow] 3x Jedi Knight 1x K-A-M 1x Medic Droid 1x Mace Windu (19-1) In a round-robbin tournament with my other teams, it went 7-1 with 15 wins and 5 losses. The K-A-M/MD combo is brutal, though strategy of protection is the key here. My second-best team (went 7-1 with 14 wins and 5 losses) was the only team to beat RotJ. [glow=purple,2,500]Tinkie-Winkie's Battle Brigade (aka "I'll Take It and Like It"):[/glow]1x Scout Trooper 1x Jango Fett 2x Boba Fett 1x Boba Fett in the sideboard...er...backups. I'm thinking about replacing Jango/Boba backup with Bossk in the main. When I get my Bossk, I'll try that squad build and see if it's a better option.

My favorite 100-point team ...
FRONT LINE Darth Sidious [30] Anakin Skywalker [Jedi, with Force Push] [40] Count Dooku, or, Royal Guard, depending on my mood [20] Separatist Clone Trooper [10]
BACKUPS Series 2 Clone Trooper [10]
STRATEGY Move Darth Sidious, Anakin, and Clone in triangular formation, with the large bases of Anakin and Sidious protecting the Clone. As much as possible, use this triangle to impede opponent's shots at Dooku, who's still close to starting line. (If opponent goes after Dooku, use his speed to run. At this point, Dooku's only purpose is to stay upright for the sake of Sidious' special power, in case the Clone goes down.) Use Anakin and Clone to pick off opponent's troops. When in range, take Sidious into the midst of opponents---still using Anakin to protect the Clone---to wipe them out with his massive saber, trusting that his special power will protect him even if your opponent takes him down. If Anakin goes down, the Series 2 Clone comes in to assist the other Clone as it wreaks the wrath of Order 66 upon your opponent.
I'm certain that I will eventually lose using this setup, but, so far, I've had 100% victories with this one. Vive la Sith.
Almost makes me want to join RedemptionRocks and Radar on the Dark Side.
But not quite.

I ran a very similar team in my tests. It included Sidious [30], Maul [30], and 2x Dooku [40]---I gave it the name "The Phantom Menace." It finished with a 4-4 (10-10) final record. Dookus were highly useful as they kept coming up (going down?) white!
I made a "T" formation of Dooku, Sidious, Dooku along the front and Maul behind them supporting them with his dual sabers.
