These are some pretty awesome creations.
I need to stop being lazy and post them on the main blog!

Yeah, me too. How do you post to that customs tab? When you click on it, it says something like "invalid password ..don't have permission"...Thanks!

Totally Boss.
Incredible work! If I hadn't seen them on this thread, I would have thought these to be made by Hasbro.

To prove that I'm not going to only do G.I Joes, I present, from Hellboy Animated... Abe Sapien 30 points - Captain - B.P.R.D. - 4 Speed - Medium Base Evade: If White > Your opponent may not attack your Warriors on their next turn. This one was a significant challenge for me, because unlike the Joes, this wasn't an action figure to begin with...it's basically one piece of PVC plastic to start. But, with some careful cutting and pegging, I was able to successfully add a waist and shoulder swivel joints. It was also a bit of a pain just to get the feet off of the old base, and of course, the stance was just a hair wide for the medium base, so I did a little work to get those positioned right as well. So, all and all, this experiment was a success. I will probably go back in and redo the shoulders with something a bit more permanent (I had planned on rare earth magnets), so we'll see what happens...

Ninja B.A.T. 20 points - Trooper - Cobra - 10 Speed - Medium base Shootback: If White > Free attack for one of your B.A.T. launcher figures. This is a good three quarters view of the fig. I used the striking mechanism from a Skyblast robot mode as a basis for his attack. I then modded the barrel to give it a smoother look, cut the fin to match the spines on the robot, and cut and pasted the extra lengths of his arms to complete the look of the striking mechanism. I also modded the spear to more closely match the shape of the figures existing spears. I used the totally awesome TixTool for the labels, custom front and back, as well as the bottom special. For the labels, I printed them on regular paper at the highest quality I could, then covered the top with clear packing tape, the back with permanent double sided tape. Cut and press, seems to be staying on fine. The fig maintains it's movement at both shoulders, head, and waist. The waist is at a bit of an angle naturally, allowing for some good positioning for directional striking.

Great!! Is this the underwater swimming/amphibian guy? Kudo's for building in the articulation!

Spawn IV 20 points - Warrior - Spawn - 6 Speed - Medium Base Last Stand: If White > Stand up this figure if it was your only figure in play. Original Spawn 3" collectible figure by McFarlane Toys. This figure didn't have any articulation, so... ...I had to add a swivel joint to the right arm (the original pose had both arms down to the side), now he can aim effectively in play as well. That's the upshot. The logo even turned out well...a faint green outline looks really nice up close. Articulation limited to the shooting arm on this one...but super amounts of detail on the original fig are largely undisturbed...

OMG, that's perhaps the most stunning sculpt and visually impressive custom TIX I've seen! And I'm not even a Spawn fan!Another +1 K 4U! By the way, Happy B-day!

The Spawn does indeed work really well. It's really hard to even want more articulation when it looks like that. As long as it aims (which you said it does), I'd say it's pretty awesome.

Amen to that. The McFarlane lines have always had really nice detailing to them, and it's really nifty to know that such precisely detailed figs could be modded into Tix nicely. Out of curiosity, have you done any "field tests" regarding the durability of such exquisitely sculpted figures during battle? The only part I'd worry about immediately would be the end of the maroon scarf sticking up into the air.

I haven't put any of these through the wringer yet, but I intend for all of them to be game worthy in their construction. Spawn in particular is fairly solid...I don't forsee any problems. The scarf is a softer plastic with some bend in it, so that shouldn't be a problem. I left an optional weapon prop off of his back, because I couldn't see a good way to secure it.

Hey...I'm trying to come up with a term that would cover the type of mods or customs I'm doing...how does "inTIXicated" sound?

It sounds great. A little humorous and a nice bit of description both of your desire for more 'tix and of the effect they have on others.

Hey...I'm trying to come up with a term that would cover the type of mods or customs I'm doing...how does "inTIXicated" sound? The custom work you're doing is essentially taking a 'sculpture' figure and articulating it, adding weapons, and fixing it to a base. So, I guess you'd be..... "FixTixArticuSculptArming". <Fix-Tix-Art-Ick-Yu-Sculp-Tar-Ming> BTW, Spawn Rocks. What's with the IV? Is he cripping?
