Very nice trophy! Hey ConaChris, is it too late to add another person to my roster? It was originally just going to be my brother and I, but SinisterSyndicater would like to go also. Is that cool with you?

You have to see the Allspark on it. Sick.
I started with a cheapie Rubic's Cube and removed the stickers. I then put a thick coating of epoxy over the entire body. While it was drying I etched in details (the scratches and lines on the movie model) so they'd be in there and have a 3-D effect. Then I took some photos off the internet and painted on some of the glyphs. Not the best work ever, to be honest, but pretty darned good. I didn't like the way the glyphs looked, so I repained the whole deal with a second coat of paint - brownish and rustish colored. Then on with the glyphs, which looked a bit better (I'm still not 100% satisfied) and then I hazed the whole thing with gold-leaf flecks. If you look at it straight on you see the gold-leaf but if you look from an angle it disappears. VERY cool. Finally, 5 layers of clearcoat so that the winner doesn't F it up on the way back to Independence KY (or, on the off chance someone ELSE wins, to their house).
Attach to base, make stickers, attach Vector, Voila. New Trophy Mega.

I see no reason as to why I would drive through Independence, KY just to get to my house. That would be far out of the way. I want that trophy. I wasn't going to say anything at first so that I wouldn't let anyone think I was excited or anything, but man, this trophy looks better than the one we fought for at TOTS. BTW, great idea for an effect.

The A$$-Kicker trophy was the best one ever! At least that's what I'll say if I don't win the All-Spark one...

Somehow I figured you'd say that. LOL!

I have a couple questions that I don't think were answered yet: EventsA) Double elimination 200-point open tournament (100-points maximum for back-ups) How many attacks per turn? Just 2 like normal, or 4 since the points are doubled? EventsC) Single eliminaton 100-point "Choose Your Opponent's Team" +You pick a team (it stays the same for the entire tournament) and that's the team your opponent plays against you with. All figures must be able to knock a figure down during an attack (so no R2s, Emperors, or Medic Droids), all figures must be fully functional (so your Darth Vader that's broken can't play). Where are these teams being built from? Your own on-hand figures or your opponents? Or a pile of figures supplied by the host? Thanks!

The teams come from your own on-hand stash and then your opponent will use them and you use the figures from your opponent. There is a requirement that the figures must function properly... so if you have a Nute Gunray that shoots the missile 2 inches (like I do), or a broken Wicket, that's not legal.

I disgree on Nute Gunray and the Anemia Blaster. ALL of them suck. That should be allowed, and the figures should be ruled upon by a third party arbiter.
This trophy is definately not as cool as the Azzkicker trophy. This is really pretty slick though, since I wanted to make something that could be actually played with. The AllSpark is really nice looking, though. The 3 dimensional look of the scratches and the multitude of colours really make this one shine.
Don't worry about it, GE - you'll not walk away with this trophy if Chris and I have something to say about it. You might as well head to the Kingdom Hall and pray for your salvation from our tix-barrages now!!!

Hey, don't give me more to-do's to put on my list before this weekend, I have enough already. But, wait! I understand your tactics now. Try to overload me to the point I'll be too tired before game time. Hmmm.....interesting indeed.

And unfortunately, Radar isn't able to make it. Right now the weather is a bit nippy outside with the rain... however if it warms up, I may have to dust off the infamous/holy/ridiculous orange shorts!
