Hello Ladies and Gents, Boys and Girls of all Ages!
This thread is dedicated to finding the best 200-point squad that is possible in StarWars Attacktix. Please put it in and let us know why you believe it can be the 'end-all-be-all'.
I vote for:
Obi Wan Kenobi S2 Starter (30) Gold Nute Gunray (30) Destroyer (40) Ki Adi Mundi Gold (20) Tion Medon (20) S2 GBG (10) 3x Battle Droid (30) 2x Jedi Knight (20) Backups: 4 Battle Droids and a Battle Droid Commander
I think that this is the killer squad due to the regeneration factor, more-than-usual attacks per turn (well, shots per turn) and the fact that this contains enough figures to be deadly, but few enough not to get completely crushed by multi-kill strikes.

getting out a blatently obvious strong force. Vader s4 x4 Gold based vader x1 Reason for bestage. All but 1 has 14 speed, killer striker AND can stand back up. And that one can give the entire team attack backs. Another one I'd say would probly be In backups (s5 emporer (yeah i know its not out yet. buuut you didn't say they had to be out ) s4 vader x3. Scout troopers.X5 (specialist) Boba fett (capture) x1. Reason for this team. A jedi are used alot in star wars teams (barring ewoks) from what i've seen. So vader will give the rest of the team shooting. Scout troopers have an awesome shot and boba's capture is scary. So Yeah I've never tried this team but I have a feeling it'd work pretty well. You could also pull one 1 s4 vader for the gold based and boba for 3 more scouts to get 10 max free attacks with gold vader. Now for a NON empire team.... Leia x3 (20 point leias i think its s3) Han in storm. Luke in storm. Han x2 (starter. Recover) Chewie s2 x2 Back ups Luke (s3) han (starter. Recover) This team stands up alot...Idk i like it when i play big multi games cuz i usualy get jumped :-p Shoot 3 per turn, recover alot....Is nice!

Operating under the TixCon "5 of each standard figure, 1 of each Gold figure, 1 tournament figure" rules:
Wicket x5 Jedi Knight x5 S2 Starter Obi-Wan x2 Gold Ki-Adi-Mundi Logray
Backups: S5 Yoda Jedi Knight x9
Wickets give your Obi-Wans Recover ability, Jedi Knights swarm like always, KAM strikes fear in the heart of the opponent with Logray doing a tiny bit of that as well. Another idea is to drop Logray in exchange for a Tion Medon who could then bring back Obi or KAM.

Qui-Gon 40pts Tion Medon x5 100pts S2 GBG x5 50pts R2 Q5 10pts The Tion Medons are in a permenent Evade until Qui-Gon is defeated because of Qui-Gons effect. Even if Qui-Gon is killed each Tion Medon has a 50% chance to recover him and bring back his effect. The GBG are just for added protection for Qui-Gon as they stay back and protect QGJ. And if QGJ is being charged the R2-Q5 almost guarentees the first strike against any foe after QGJ. (Thats IF the make it past the army of Tion Medons.) No shooters necessary. Qui-Gon Jinn's Effect:

Whoah, thanks Annointed 1! I hadn't run into Qui-Gon's effect yet, and it looks great... maybe Bail and Padme' (they're Leaders, if I remember correctly) will actually be worth 20.5 points now. Kind of captures Qui-Gon's character, too.
As for the best 200 point team ever... well, I'm going with 2x S2 Starter Kenobi and 14x Wicket. It would be a great team. The Kenobis would keep getting back up and the Wickets would at least get one Evade. I just wish I had enough Wickets/Kenobis to play this team and try it out.

I think the BEST Team ever for a two hundred point game would be simply 20, 10 point Spideys. Why hasn't anybody thought of something like.
Their would probably be Spideys EVERYWHERE. And if one came up white, Ta-Dah! No attacking Spidey.

Ghost Yoda and the JKs are pure tech. Yoda lets Obi-Wan pull in the JKs whenever he kills a Sith or Vader. Sure, not many people run Sith but Vader shows up relatively often. Even one or two Jedi Knights can swing the tide of battle so why not go for a full pull?

I had a great 200 point team because that is what we played with and I was undefeated with it unfortunately It has been so long sense I have played that I can't remember it. I will say however that after seeing qui-gons special that I am rethinking what I said before about not buying any more.

Now, I don't have this team, but it would still own ;D 2x S3 Leia (20ea) Luke as Storm (20) Han as Storm (20) S4 Starter Han (20) 2x S3 Luke Saber Force Luke Haven't thought of one with backups yet...

Ok now that two people have posted it, I have to ask. Why in the world would anyone play a Han as Storm with a Luke as Storm? I don't get it. You can not use both their effects in one turn so what is the point?
To Grievous, I had forgotten what Yoda's effect was. Now I understand. Thanks for clarifying.

Here's mine:
S2 Jedi knight (x4) S4 Wicket (x2) S1 Obi-Wan Kenobi (no.31) S4 Boba Fet (no.21) S4 Han Solo (no.20) S4 Chewbacca (no.19) S4 IG-88 (no.15, w/ Bounty Hunter symbol) S4 Greedo (no.22)
The reason why this team is good:
-Jedi Knights can give each other or Obi-Wan an attackback -Wicket can help out his twin, act as a sacrifice for Obi-Wan, and work as a suicide striker -Boba gets to stand up if Greedo or IG-88 is standing -Han gets to stand up if Chewbacca or one of the Jedi Knights is still standing -Chewbacca can return Han, Boba, Greedo, or IG-88 to play -IG-88 can capture an enemy speciallist for you -Greedo can give Boba or IG-88 a free attack

Still are you gonna kil 7 Sith or Vaders? Dude, Recover power. Each time Darth Vader stands up, next turn you can knock him down again to bring in another Jedi Knight. A constant wave of Jedi Knights coming into play, just because your opponent's Vader won't die! In fact, what if one were to put a S2 Starter Obi-Wan or three in backups! It'd be like Obi is constantly cloning himself. "Obi-Wan, this is Obi-Too. Obi-Too, meet Obi-Thrii. Look at that, Obi-Fore is joining the party with some help of Vader!"

I'm heavily partial to the droid army, so here is my squad (sticking to the common tournament limits of 5 per figure and 1 gold and 1 tournament figure):
Tournament Grievous S1 Grievous 4 S2 Grievous Bodyguards 3 S2 Grievous Strikers R2-Q5 4 S5 Battle Droids
I do not have all the figures above in the quantities listed, but that would be my ultimate team if I did.
I would place the S5 Battle Droids close to the Grievouses, so that way if those pesky strikers came, there's the possibility for evade to come up. And for those annoying Lukes and S2 Kenobis that keep recovering, the Grievous Striker can Vengenace them. And of course, we have R2-Q5 who can send the S2 GBGs 24 tix!
