While I'll admit, 20 bucks is steep, the odds on finding a Yoda are 1:15 at 7-8 bucks a pop. Sometimes it is best to admit defeat when you only need a certain figure or two, rather than chewing through 40 bucks worth of boosters to just get more duplicates of figures you already own.
This is of course, unless you have a buddy who has umpteen thousand extra figures and likes to trade them off.

...but for the record, would never pay 20 bucks for a figure. I still twitch when I think about spending $14 for Vader. Though it was $14 well spent, it does feel a bit off when I see him next to my $.99 Clone Troopers (Thanks, play_today!!).

If anybody here has special ties to Wal-mart, log out now because i have some info. This is complete cheating but, at $7 bucks a pop, its worth it. Wal-mart does not check to see if you have opened the packs so if you open one and don't get anything you want, retape it and exchange it.
I know it is wrong, but look at you alternatives, $20 dollar yoda!!

Who am I to Judge, and I am certainly not perfect, but you are not hurting Wal-Mart! (not that would make it ok mind you) You are hurting the rest of us by doing that. I am sorry, but that is just ALL wrong. There are too many legit ways to get rid of your dupes that are much better through auctions, trades, and gifts. Please don't return opened boosters! You will kill the hobby before it really even gets started! Ok, I'll get off my soap box now and live and let live.

The only attacktix that I've returned was due to broken figures right out of the box. d**n you Tarful!!!
I would never even think about putting back "bad" boosters. I accidentally bought a previously opened booster and went right back in to exchange it. I was extremely annoyed that they put it back for sale. For all I know it contained 3 Wookie Scouts.

i always check for the double tape. the only boosters left at the mal wart & the target are 'previously viewd' but when they go on clearance cause of nobody buying them.. ill be first in line for sure fire troop builders at a fraction of the price. but then they could be stuffed with ANYTHING..!

You are absolutely correct! It is very unfair and hurtful, and I guess the only reason I did it was because I just couldn't buy another wookie, droid, papaltine booster! I have not done this lately though, and I agree there are better ways to get rid of repeats, but for the record, did anyone else have a hard time finding Argen Kolar?

4 bucks on eBay, so nope, not at all. Worth it to not get another Palapatine or Shaak Ti, the two rares who like to annoy me with their never ending presence in my boosters the most.
