Radar and Steel, your guesses were correct! I thought the same thing when I saw the B-Daman Battle Board, and heard of the Ball-Shooting Action. They did use the same size ball, and the launchers are the same for Jabba as the funky robots. BUT the B-Daman balls are twice as heavy. I weighed all four of Jabba's balls and got .5 oz. (.125oz/ball) Then four of the B-Daman balls (I got the Orange Snake Loader pack, for $3.99 - then saw it for $3.49 at Walmart ) and they were 1.0 oz. (.25oz/ball) So as far as our packing scale can tell us, they are TWICE as heavy. Now, the extra weight allows for LESS flight time, but it packs a greater punch. I was hoping they would be a straight replacement for the Attacktix, so that losing a ball would not be a big deal... but alas, they are still not EXACTLY the same. I don't have one of those weird ass skull measuring devices, but the B-Daman balls look SLIGHLY larger (like a few hairs thicker). To my eye anyway. But they load into Jabba JUST as easy, and come out with just as much force. So if you have $4 to blow, go buy a ball pack, I am going to try them out tonight (I did not say play with) and I will report back to you. I got my B-Daman Standard Loader with blue marbles for $0.84 at Toys R Us. They are okay but they are much different in behavior because of their weight. I also noticed the Lego Zamor Spheres used by some 2006 Bionicle toys are about the same size so I tried them and they seem to behave more like the standard Jabba spheres. I found you can order replacement parts from Lego at www1.lego.com/eng/service/replacementparts.aspby checking "Lost a part" and putting in "Set number: 8731" to get blue Zamor Spheres which are somewhat lighter in color than Jabba's but closer in weight. Here is a picture. www.lego.com/eng/bionicle/productPage.aspx?family=inika&productNumber=8731The cost is $3.19 for 1 sphere and $7.67 for 20 spheres. (all same color; I did not try to order multiple colors) You will get a Lego reference number by email the same or next day after your request. The reference number expires in 15 days. You can get other colors using different sets: 8727,8728 - Green 8729,8730 - Red 8731,8732 - Blue You can also buy 10 Zamor Spheres with replacement set 8719 which is available on eBay. It includes random Gold, Silver and Metal colored spheres. I read somewhere there are other colors like Orange but I have not tracked down exact Lego set numbers. I need to do some more testing to see if I think the Zamor Spheres are equivalent to the Jabba spheres but with a sniff test they appear to be much closer than the B-Daman marbles. Update: After testing with the three types of spheres I believe the Zamor Spheres are slightly smaller or at least lighter than the Jabba spheres while the B-Daman spheres are much heavier and slightly larger. Of the three the B-Daman spheres seem to have the most potential especially at long range because of the weight but, as has been noticed the exact trajectory seems slightly random for all three sphere types. Another update: I got another B-Daman loader called the Snake Loader (18 spheres for $0.52!!!) as referred to by someone above and it has balls that are solid blue plastic (except for one white one with a blue insignia on it) instead of transparent blue marbles and they are thus closer to the weight of the official Jabba spheres but I think they are still a good bit heavier. Apparently the B-Daman line changed sphere types throughout their lifetime but I have not been able to definitively determine which came first, the marble or the plastic sphere.

Do you mean the Jabba figure smells or do you mean you actually met Jabba and smelt him, pretty disgusting if it's the second one. I can't comment on Jabba, I never actually saw him in a store and therefore never got him.

He moves 4 speed. I have a friend that says that jabba sucks. He's okay..... If you run out of ammo, you can always use marbles as refill ammo! Gideon

I have a Jabba but have not used him yet. It seems to me that his balls shoot out a little weak. Does anyone else have this problem? Nevertheless I am excited to use this bad boy.

Somewhat weak, it is all about how and where you connect to figures. He usually only got just over one knock down per four balls from when we used him.

Yes, he is a little on the weak side. I also hate chasing after his projectiles. However, I still like him even though I've not played with him in a year or so. Need to dust him off along with AT-RT.

If you happen to loose the marbles, there are some as part of bionicle, b-damon, and some other toy sets that match nicely

THis Topic Makes me cry in my beer. I was too dim to get a Jabba back in the day. Now I Kick myself in the crotch whenever Jabba & boga ( ouch! Ouch! That is hard to do!) come up in conversation. . I also wish I had Started buying attacktix earlier than I did (set 3). Not that it hasn't been fun hunting around for the older stuff. I fought me need to buy toys and Have learned my lesson. Never again!!! Never again i say!!!

I currently have 3 of them. One could be yours. PM me if you have some trades available and let's see if we can work something out.
