Let's begin to post JUST Jabba questions and comments here. I love Jabba! He is not so hot from a distance, but neither was the Boga The balls come out at different angles, but if you apply the same pressure everytime, you get a real good feel for it after a while. I was down to just my Jabba, and my opponent had a Heavy Stormtrooper in the rear and a Scout Trooper. I moved Jabba so that he was in line with both of them (We play do NOT reposition Jabba after first shot). It took two shots to knock down the closest Scout Trooper, and one more blew the Heavy Trooper from the table! S. Crumb had already taken a blow to the head, so all he needed was a shot on his Hooka. Luckily, Jabba knew where to put his balls! He is very costly, but not bad in a huge game... Especially against the deadliest team yet! The Rebels: Leia, with Han and Luke in disguise. 2 free turns EVERY time. Then add in an Artoo and an upper-cut Chewie and you can get up to SIX attacks per turn. (Obviously more than a 100 point game, here, 6 attacks and only 4 figures is rather pointless) I think it was Boossk or Boba that took my well-covered Leia out of play with his Special... but good ole' Chewie put her right back. I'll write up my review of this team after TF2006 is over!

Cool, I have a few questions about this awesome mega. How far do these shots go? Are they strong enough to knock down most figures at a good distence? Are the rules for this figure the same as with the At-Rt being only one figure can be attacked a turn? Do the hitting targets become reset each turn? This figure is amazing, I really want one.

I have a question. Has anyone actually found a Jabba Mega on a store shelf? It seems like everyone has been getting theirs off of the internet, and no one has mentioned seeing one at Target, Walmart, etc. Also, I've been watching eBay for Jabba auctions, but no one , and I mean absolutely no one has been using pictures of the actual item, they use pictures off of the Hasbro website. It is starting to make me think that no one has this item in hand. I just find it kind of bizzare, so if anyone has spotted the fat lard at Walmart (by that I mean Jabba), post and let me know where.

I got my Jabba from Hasbro off the internet...I feel bad posting here because I feel off topic. I have anything but love for Jabba.
His attack is weird...spit to kill?
He costs too many points.
His shots are irregular (not easily replaced).
His shots do not fire with any accuracy or effectiveness.
Boo Jabba. -Radar

I know this is off topic, but when I went to this thread from linux computer the heart looked like some weird copyright symbol. Just wondering if that was normal. And To make this a little on topic... Jabba looks awesome in my opinion.

The balls come out at different angles, but if you apply the same pressure everytime, you get a real good feel for it after a while. Something is wrong with that statememnt Joe. I have yet to play with Jabba so I have no idea how to handle his balls.

Yeah, that doesn't sound very good at all. I wish I could quit Jabba.

ok, i think this is going to far. Going back on topic..
I think Jabba seems like a fairly good figure. Maybe if I give it a powerful spring...

Jabbas' firing mechanism isn't spring based. The button/trigger in his back forces the balls through a squeeze point. No springs involved in the actual firing.
He's like an automatic weapon. The projectiles are spring fed into the launcher (like bullets from a clip) but the spring isn't used in launching.

I havent seen one yet, but you probly could mod it to use a spring.
