It would take a lot of modding. There is a through and through hole going from the back of his head and out his mouth and a hole going down to his stomach. That’s three of the possible ‘sides’ you’d need to mount a spring missing and the roof of his mouth really wouldn’t work. I realize that the attacktix guns have a hole out the front and back but the missiles have notches/grooves to catch the spring, the balls don’t. You can give modding a whirl but I think it would be a lot of work for very little payoff. The Attacktix designers out did themselves on this one (from a engineering standpoint).

I received my Jabba today!
I was at walmart tonight and I noticed some toys called Battle B-Daman blasters or something to that effect. Anyway looking at the balls that are used for this I think they would be able to replace lost Jabba balls. The actual toy thing was about $8 but for $4 you get a small holder for this thing and it includes about 12 or 15 or so replacement balls. They look to be the right size and type of balls used for Jabba.
Overall I feel Jabba is rather useless though, yeah he's cool but I'm definitely with Radar on this one.

I believe that Battle B-Daman is a Hasbro product.....those balls might be interchangeable. -Radar
Update, I just got back from Wal Mart. I think the balls are interchangeable, not only that, but I think the ball firing mech is directly out of Battle B-Daman (whatever that means).
Clever making an old toy into a new one, what would have been really cool is if the two toys were interchangeable... both of the Battle B-Daman players in America could play with a Jabba figure and we could get those awkward Robots on the Droid army team. Just to get people to buy more of their products.

We've not had too many issues with our Jabba. Our shots feel pretty strong - certainly as strong as the AT-RT in our case. Now I know the springs in figures can vary so maybe we got a really strong one. Joe has taken out many of my figures with Jabba. With the right team (bounty hunters) he is tough. He is probably easily beaten with the leia/luke/han/R2-D2 combo (with the chance of up to 6 attacks - but what team isnt' decimated by that team - i digress...). Other than that I think he's an overall great mega. I would certainly recommend him if you play with an all bounty hunter team. On a side note, my cat loves chasing those shots. When I bring out Jabba he gets excited. He certainly thinks it's a cat toy. Joe has tried to discourage me from letting him play with it but it's fun to watch him chase the balls.

Radar and Steel, your guesses were correct! I thought the same thing when I saw the B-Daman Battle Board, and heard of the Ball-Shooting Action. They did use the same size ball, and the launchers are the same for Jabba as the funky robots. BUT the B-Daman balls are twice as heavy. I weighed all four of Jabba's balls and got .5 oz. (.125oz/ball) Then four of the B-Daman balls (I got the Orange Snake Loader pack, for $3.99 - then saw it for $3.49 at Walmart ) and they were 1.0 oz. (.25oz/ball) So as far as our packing scale can tell us, they are TWICE as heavy. Now, the extra weight allows for LESS flight time, but it packs a greater punch. I was hoping they would be a straight replacement for the Attacktix, so that losing a ball would not be a big deal... but alas, they are still not EXACTLY the same. I don't have one of those weird ass skull measuring devices, but the B-Daman balls look SLIGHLY larger (like a few hairs thicker). To my eye anyway. But they load into Jabba JUST as easy, and come out with just as much force. So if you have $4 to blow, go buy a ball pack, I am going to try them out tonight (I did not say play with) and I will report back to you.

B-Daman are made to be rolled on the ground like marbles and not fly through the air. In the game of B-Daman the object is to hit your opponents gate to close it.

My jabba: Worthless at a distance (excpet for small distance) Pretty good at mid distance, (Better than my at-rt) Devestating at close range (until he promptly gets nailed on the next turn. Overall, a very solid figure, and one of my favorites. Love the targets.

I just got my Jabba this weekend and tried it for the first time Saturday night. I was playing AWOL (which seems to be a mistake from the start, because the Force seems to be with him). I had another freak "catch", like the Mace Windu missle catch months ago that I posted on this forum with a pic. Jabba shot a ball point blank at Hammerhead. You'd think Hammerhead would have been doomed. NOPE. He caught the darn ball with his hands. Believe me....I was shocked. We almost took a pic of it...but I was just too shocked. Hammerhead didn't even budge...he just caught the ball. So, overall, Jabba looks cool, but he still has to earn my respect. Much respect to Hammerhead...he's very tough.

I just got my Jabba and I have to say I am having trouble loading the balls. I could only get two in his mouth. I wanted him to shoot all four out as fast as possible. Oh yeah how come on the package the balls are green and when I opened Jabba and I find out he has blue. I was looking forward to green balls, I wasn't looking forward to getting blue balls. The targets look kinda cool. I haven't play tested him yet when I do I will let you guys know how it goes.

As far as loading the balls Tayryu, you might have to reach in the mouth with your finger and push down on the balls as you load them in. That's what I need to do to load them all in.
My experience with Jabba has been mixed. I love how he looks, but his balls just aren't hard-hitting enough. He doesn't seem to be able to take down anything, even at close range. I'm hoping that this is just a spring-thing, so that if I get another one, it might be stronger. I still like Jabba though. He's cool to shoot, even if he is weak.

Right, the power is coming from the ball being SQUEEZED out of a slightly smaller space. I am not sure if a harder push on the button would have anything to do with it either, maybe a SLIGHTLY larger ball... but that won't happen.
