Me and my cousin were playing the other day and brought up an idea about a battle droid army. He said to have an emperer and 9 battledroids with a bunch of battle droids in your backup because the battle droids special when white is replace this figure with two more battle droids or something like that.I don't think it's good strategy but at least it's something.

My favorite strategy is to have my figures knock down my enemies figures...it is sweet

I don't understand what you're taking about. Are you saying that your figure gets tooken out then it knocks over their's too?

I guess that's the main strategy. Take out your opponent.

My favoite stragety is to have A bunch of driods (SBD & Battle driod.) all spread out so my opponet has a bit of trouble geting all of them before i can shoot them, and i use vader to try to keep emperor alive, so he can posses.

I do the opposite of fallen jedi: forceblasters move first & fight first, then shooters, than my strikers.

What are these "shooters" and "Force blasters" of which you speak? Seriously, I tend to do all of the heavy attacking with my strikers. I keep my shooters and Force blasters pretty well removed from the main battle action. The better to have Starter Kenobi and Vader come back into play!

I keep my shooters and Force blasters pretty well removed from the main battle action. The better to have Starter Kenobi and Vader come back into play! I used to be in the military! I know the ways of fighting w/different forces in different orders. ;D By using the force blasters first, I'm able to knock down several strikers on my first few turns before they can get in that strange defensive line you like to implement. Usually Shaak Ti/Plo Koon are dead by turn 2-4, and then I start using my shooters while my strikers get in position for the 'kills.' It's pretty effective for me. AND I am not over exerting my strikers. *cough*Yoda BREAKER *cough*

I used to be in the military! I know the ways of fighting w/different forces in different orders. ;D That I did not know I've played plenty of wargames, but I've never been in the military. I see. I've taken having my opponent and me start out in whatever formation we want, as otherwise, the initiative seems to be waaaay too important. Oh, and this "dead" of which you speak. I reserve that only for my opponents and troopers that Starter Kenobi and Vader replace; I don't allow any of my other figures to "die." Overexerting, my foot...it's just bad figure design, I tell ya! And ever since I've resigned myself to playing with FrankenFigures (those with taped up joints and potentially sabers), I've actually had surprisingly few problems. I might post a tutorial about repairing busted strikers.

I might post a tutorial about repairing busted strikers. We have one dissection post. I think SFX is working on a repair post for the base, so you might as well make one for the actual figures... We probably have more useful info on our site than Hasbro!

Probably? No we do we have more than 10 times more usefull info than hasbro gives us, We are All helping eachother out, we are getting our right as a consumer to know about our products we buy, and this site gives us way more than hasro wants to give us.

Im sure that someone may have already said it, but I believe that strategy starts the minute you pick which characters you are going to use. Knowing what every single character's special power is, to me, rather essential. This way, you can pick your teams and coordinate their special powers. ie: Vader with lots of troops, Mace with lots of jedi, palpy with sith. Even having extra wookiees with chewie and lots of droids with Grievous. Also, knowing their special powers can help you decide who to attack. You probably wouldn't want to attack plo koon(lobster face) with grievous because of plo koon's special(remove one droid army char) chances are good that your opponent could take out his vengeance on the droid that attacked him. Just a thought...
