Hey there, I am making a VERY special custom, but I need some parts and I can't find them. I was hoping to get 2 wheels off of a polly pocket bicycle. I have almost all the other parts fabricated, but I need 2 wheels. They have to be no larger than 1 inch in diameter (about a quarter's size or so) and no thicker than 1/8 of an inch.
Here's a hint: This person will be sitting, have articulated legs, and is spring loaded. If his FLAG is hit, he'll be launched off of his chair.
Effect: Nullify//If this figure is in play, all Brotherhood figures' special powers are nullified. Special (white) // Recruit: put 2 X-Men into play from backups.
His base is going to be the Endor Trooper base that was left from Kyle Katarn....but he'll be a 40 point Leader.
Please help me with the wheel...

Hm...I wonder if I know any Professors like that. If so, they'd probably be X-rated. I wish I could assist with the wheels, though - this sounds like it'd be a nifty one.

have you ever thought of useing querters? That might work, as long as you paint them.

Good men died to preserve our way of life and currency. I have issues with defacing the basis of trade for the most powerful nation the world has ever, or will ever see.

There are plastic counting coins available in the educational chunk of the stationery aisle at Wal-Mart. Alternately, some Lego pieces might be appropriate.

I'd suggest looking at K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Target, etc., it veries by store, but most of them have some BMX biker figures. The figures themselves are roughly 1/18th scale (3-3/4 In.), but the wheels from the bikes they come with might work. Though since it'd probably be easier to use the front wheels, you might want to get two of them...

Are we really considering a "kicking" action professor Xavier? Seems like very bad taste, considering he CANT move his legs. Whole reason hes in the chair to begin with right?

Uh....KICKING? No.... He is spring loaded (like a helical spring, not leaf or other spring). He will have a flag (like the hit pads on Gunships) and if hit, he will be launched out of his chair. I think that's probably in worse taste...but you know me.... See the concept art here:

Ah, I see, the flag is linked to a 'hook' that holds the chair down. The flag is hit, the hook releases, and Prof. X. suddenly becomes a flier. So, does he have 'Force Blast 'telepathy'' or something or is he like R2, a target with an effect?

He will have no 'attack' per se, he's more like an R2-D2 Effect figure. I'm thinking that if the spring is meaty enough, though, that his flight may end up flying OVER the battlefield and into the enemy formation, assuming he stays at the back of the fray. That's the tsteless part ;S

If you are opposed to using quarters, you could get a couple of tokens at your local arcade, car wash, or subway station.

I actually settled on hollowed out 2-liter bottle lids, since I couldn't find what I really wanted. I'm going to steal a Polly from my 5 year old tonight (this one in particular has articulated arms and legs) and I should be done with this project by next week!
