Today, I called the free Hasbro 1-800 number. After asking when Marvel Attacktix Series 2 would hit stores (and a good time on hold/waiting), I received a long-awaited response. Hasbro has already shipped out the Booster Packs to Target and Walmart. They also said that the figures would be in stores within this week! Talk about good news . . . ;D

Ineteresting, but probably not, I think they may actually of thought you meant the first series. The set isn't even previewed on Attacktix.com yet. It would be very good news, I guess we can hope it's true. If Marvel is to come shortly, what about the other sets, they've been on Attactix.com for a very long time and we've been waiting for about a year's worth of time so it wouldn't make sense to release Marvel first. It wouldn't make sense unless Hasbro synched up all the release dates and when they stated (your call) that Marvel is shipping they meant the others too.

As much as I would like to believe that, it seems to be the opposite of what Hasbro told both JayDouble and I during the interviews.
Then again, Hasbro was talking about a hiatus on the TF and SW line. So, maybe Marvel 2 is coming. That would be cool.

I have no doubts that we will be seeing them soon. Walmart is doing inventory and moving stuff around. We already are seeing the older series on clearance. It makes sense that we are going to see the new stuff soon. I checked Walmarts aisle tags and noticed that they are moving the Attacktix to another area within the action figures aisle. It still says Intergalactic Battle on the tag. S5 said that on the box if you look at the picture on the Hasbro website. If not this week we will see them by the end of the month. I would bet all of Grievous' forum dollars on it.

I did the same thing yesterday after reading the post. Took me 20 minutes to find the number on their site, then I realized where it was all along...what a douche I am sometimes. Sat on hold for an ETERNITY. At almost closing time for them I got through! Finally...........
The lady I spoke to said that boosters had shipped and starters should be shipping within the next few weeks along with the Megas. She also said that she, personally, had gotten quite a few calls on the Attacktix product.
I asked her which boosters had shipped already and she confirmed that it was Marvel.
You can reach us during business hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM EST.

Very exciting news, if it is indeed true! Perhaps since SW/TF are established properties of Hasbro, they're free to do whatever they want with them (the hiatus), but since Marvel is a new comer, maybe Hasbro's being pressured to get these figures out and make money, to keep the new partnership with Marvel healthy. ......Or, it's possible that Hasbro just hates all SW/TF fans.

Wow... I'm hopeful that the Marvels will be coming this week, but don't want to get my hopes up too much. I can't count how many times I've ventured into a toy aisle since April only to be dissappointed again.
I want Kingpin... for some reason I've always had a soft spot in my heart for him.

I, normally the paragon of Attacktix optimism, must point out one very minor, itsy-bitsy negative thing. The ONE thing that I'm worried about is the fact that they're talking about Marvel. Marvel just happens to be the last batch of things shipped. Could this be a case of "not knowing" and the person on the other line just looked things up to see that "Marvel Attacktix is shipping" and that's why you got the answer of "Marvel is on its way" when in fact they're talking about Marvel Series 1? I really hate to be such a Negative Nancy on this one but it just seems odd to hear nothing of SW/TF but hear stuff about MV when MV just happened to be the last one that shipped anyways. I hope I'm wrong because I don't wanna be right. I'll still be checking my stores often, though . Long live Attacktix!
