Hey i know that kid that said the series 2 will be out within a week. That would be really kool, I want Human Torch so badly, he looks sick! I hope he's right - but we've been hearing so many times that figures will be out soon that I wouldn't get my hopes up too much.

I went to Walmart in the mall and they said they'd be in next week. The series 1 boosters were still there though.

I can't put any message underneath though. Not sure why, not sure I really care either. The reason for that is that the "personal text" field is now used for coding shop items. I've noticed the site has been rather picky about what images it allows as avatars lately - the only counsel I can give in that regard is to keep the image size at 100x100 pixels or smaller.

I think Walmart's just toying with us. They've been saying now that the new series will be out next week, like for the last 2-3 weeks! They just want us to keep coming into their store every week to check on them! I'd bet there ain't no dates set for nothin! Someone git me my Betsy I'm so angry I need to shoot a squirrel...! (and despite all that meat-talk, them are finger-lickin-good!)

I don't know what's going on with Walmart, but I checked yesterday (just in case) and once again, after they had just got organized and had put their toys up on the shelves, they are rearranging everything. A Walmart worker happened to be in the toy section and she said that they are reorganizing everything all over again. I didn't have the gonads to ask if the next Marvel series was coming out yet (a 36-year-old asking for toys is like a 60-year-old pervert asking a young hottie out on a date!). But Walmart isn't done yet with all their rearranging. Something's got to be coming out soon...

...I don't know. Last word I heard on this subject was "Hiatus" and that was from the designer of the game.
I'd like to think they are coming out to stores soon, but I think we will be seeing them on HasbroToyShop.com first.

I think that as we get closer to release we will see some ebay action. ie pre release sales etc. And some previews from hasbro insiders. That said hasbro.com does list tranformers series 2 and star wars series 5 but without a "buy" button.

I thought he said that after SW5, TF2, and M2 came out, THEN Attacktix would go on hiatus. Perhaps I misunderstood him...

I believe that he said that they are trying to release the three current sets and then are going on hiatus to fix up the current problems with marketing and such, in other words these sets are coming out like Cona Chris just said.

That's the assumption I was under - that the next series for Marvel, SW and TF were going to be released prior to the hiatus. But if we keep waiting for them to be released, what, then differentiates this from a hiatus?

Exactly my point! What the heck are they trying to feed us? Hiatus? Dude, the hiatus has been here for some time already. Don't try to convince me that we haven't waited long enough for the supposed next series. Like I said if this isn't the hiatus, then it's like not calling for rain in a desert.
