Crazy thought here but it has to do with the wording of the Swap power.
Swap: Replace this figure with a figure from your opponent's Back-Ups, and put that figure into play at your starting area.
Does this mean you put Mystique into the opponent's backups? If it does, and there's a figure in the works that recruits either Specialists or Brotherhoods, then Mystique could swap sides via a Recruit, just like her character often does. If this is how it's meant to work, it fits the character perfectly.

One thing I'm wondering about Mystique - her gun sure seems to be sticking out a long ways away from her body. She looks like she would be unbalanced and very easy to knock down.
Also, I usually play games where I have no back-ups - especially Jedi and Droid Army. What then? Am I required to declare some back-ups? Or is the user of Mystique just out of luck?

I'd say the Mystique user is enraged at the lack of backups being swapped grievous's interpretation seems right (apparently, I failed to read the text of the special power), but if you don't have any backups, I don't see how it would make sense to have to declare some. However, if your opponent doesn't have any backups, it's exceedingly unlikely s/he would have any way to call Mystique into the game, anyway. Nevertheless, this is a nice antidote to us non-backup users having a spare Grievous in backups in case S1 Anakin is in play!

Just to answer a few questions...
1.) Being removed from the game means just that...the figure goes away for good for the duration of the game, not to the defeated area.
2.) When a figure is Replaced, they are put in the defeated area - think of how Sacrifice works, the replaced figure is placed in the defeated area. Swap works much like Recruit, except it lets you pull figs from the opponents backups.
3.) If a power lets you put a figure into play from Back-Ups, but no figure is a valid target, nothing happens. Nothing forces you to play back-ups.
Hope that helps! - B

I still say she is an awesome figure. I love the ability to possess a figure. She now can do this without the cumbersome actions of the Emperor.
This figure is an A+++

Of course the Emperor is still legal. They don't mention R2-D2 or the Medic Droid and we can use him. It's more a matter of no one wanting to use him because he stinks.
Thanks for clearing up Swap, Webhead. "Replace this figure with another figure in opponent's backups THEN put on starting line" is a bit confusing but it gets around the "Put opponent's backups into play but it starts at your line and under your control" wording that could have happened. Still, I prefer the idea of Mystique going into the opponent's backups, therefore allowing her to go turncoat. That is almost certainly going to be a house rule if I get Mystique.

Hmm, I don't like Electro. For one thing, it has the "pee-colored missile" thing going on, and the balance from its blasting arms looks unstable not to mention the head being WAY too large a target. At least it's a 10-point figure with a large missile.

I like Electro. He's a 10 Point, large missile, 6 speed with a good power which means he'll be a great army builder and a figure I probably won't mind getting a lot of as my Rare. His only downside is the non-movable arms, bad defense, and the fact that he's not a Trooper so I can't do S2 SS Obi-Wan + The Amazing Rallying Electros.

Don't like him?
You will never get me to say I don't like a 10 pointer, big bullet, and a rally special. Think of it. YOu could of had Attack Back. This way you get to use him to bring in the other big dogs!
Awesome! keep them coming.

I really like Brett's explanation of Electro's special power and how much thought he's put into these. Great job!!

I really like Brett's explanation of Electro's special power and how much thought he's put into these. Great job!! I agree with this sentiment; it's nice to see how the special powers came to be in the designer's mind. Previously, I've had to reconstruct it - and didn't like some of my reconstructions (e.g., the S1 Clone Lieutenant's Sacrifice power was...because he's a selfish little bugger and will stay alive at the expense of his subordinates? then how does that fit in with Starter 1 Kenobi's Trooper Sacrifice?). After sleeping on it, Electro could be a nasty, nasty boy, indeed. Yes, one may give up the flexibility of Greedo's arm, but he's more readily available through boosters, and his special power might end up giving an army of 10 Electros a lot of staying power, if it's of a sufficiently high probability (e.g., 6/26). Y'know, all of these 10-point medium-missile shooters make me wonder if the small missile shooter will be going the way of the dodo in the next few series. I'm not quite sure how I feel about this, as it makes me wonder what the use of the small-missile shooters will be, especially because now we're "allowed" to tilt figures on their bases to get a bitter shot (a ruling with which it would be difficult for me to disagree more). However, if they're restricted to starter sets or fixed-arm sets...I s'pose it's OK, as the strikers are quite overpowered in their attacks for the point cost.

Webhead, I have a question about Mystique.
When you swap the figure, do you have to start the swapped figure at the starting line or where Mystique was standing when she was defeated?
