I know I'm in danger of thread-drift here, but I have two others that routinely annoy me:
"Irregardless" and "I could care less."
(As far as being completely literal goes, I've also mused that instead of saying to someone, "Can I ask you a question?" we should say, "Can I ask you another question?" While being correct, I think it would just generate confusion.)

The only things that worry me about Spidey are the way his arm angles up (which may make him "top off" figures that he tries to strike across the playing field) and the separate webbing, which looks like it might break off with a hard enough strike.
But as I said, those are the only things that bother me about him. My Jedi Knights are going to be awfully upset, if they have to go up against a Spidey army. In fact, I'd trade 10 of my Jedi Knights just to experience the fun of a 10-Spidey team.

Because if I could care less that means I must care some, right? :\ Anyway, that spider-man rocks my socks! By far my favorite marvel figure I have seen yet.

I was really hoping Blackheart was going to be a traditional striker, I'm just not a big fan of the uppercut. The large base and universal special power are both nice, but I doubt I'll be using him much. Since the two Ghost Riders in the starter set are so good (and therefore leading people to buy up the set), I doubt anyone will have too much trouble finding a Blackheart or two they could trade for.
But right in line with nearly all of the other Marvel figures, this one has a great sculpt. And Vanquish is a very clever special power. Good job again, Brett.

Wow, I am very surprised to see blackheart has an uppercut. From the pictures we have seen, I had myself convinced he was a shooter.
That special is pretty darn cool.. Too bad that the defeated figure is a requirement though.

Everything about this figure is mere decent, until we reach the power. I really like it and I'm glad we're finally getting figures that effect backups (Mystique) and defeated piles (Blackheart) because it will eventually allow me to play my favorite game style, annoy the snot out of your opponent. In the card games where I do this, I generally lose but it is so much fun to get my opponent frustrated to the point he can't think straight.

Yeah it is too bad Blackheart isn't in all his black and tenticled glory, but maybe that is meant to be a suprise in the movie or something. The power is great, I hope it would have a high white percentage, then you'd have a great powerful power that is checked based on the gameplay. Spidey looks like a winner too, I'm excited to see how he swings and what sortof strike he has.

So the Vanquish Speical Power totally eliminates an opponent's defeated figure from the game - it's not like you get to put an opponent's defeated figure into your pile and potentially use a Rally to bring him/her back to play for your side - right?
Either way, that's a very creative special power, and very appropriate for the figure!

Wow, a Doc Oc stiker I'm excited to try him out and see what he can do. I was unsure if I'd like Gambit with the energy blast, but for only 30 points it's worth a go on a x-ment team at least.

Gambit, in particular, draws my interest immediately. Wouldn't it be cool if they re-issued him with a spring in his waist to make him a combo striker/blaster? It looks like his pole arm will turn around, which would let him have an awesome staff attack, sort of like Darth Maul's, but with less movement restrictions on it. The flames(?) coming up off his base will help make him a sturdier figure, though at the cost of giving more places to hit him.
And Doc Ock...what a wacky strike! I'm not as concerned about the tentacles breaking (off) because they look like they're made of single pieces of plastic that are nicely embedded in his back - even the ends of the tentacles look like they'd be solid. I wonder if his tentacle could be used as a hook, too...hmm...he could give rise to some interesting attack variants.
