Time to offer a little bit of insight I have.
Hasbro isnt sitting on just stacks and stacks of production stuff that is one boat ride away from being At Walmart distro centers.
I like to think its possible that Series 5,2,2 will come out soon, but Its unlikely...
About my somewhat open-ended comment on price.
A Test shot of a Common released figure sells for almost 20. As do Test shots of some of the more common unreleased stuff (such as Marvel 2). Did anyone know that there has been at least 6 Series 5 Production Ghost Yodas Sold? Most not on eBay. But most for close to 100 bucks.
There is production level booster quality figures out there. They are not cheap. Hasbro is unlikely to have pallets and pallets of stuff waiting to go.
One of the Asian fellows has said he has 1 Fastball Special Battlemaster Loose, in production colors but not painted. Clearly if I was to share the price he quoted me a few of you may pass away at your computer. Lets just say You could likely buy every other Attacktix Produced figure, and some of the Tournament figures for about the same price.
I am still waiting on more info, I'll share what I get.
Good hunting.

20$ is what I find reasonable and expected. I could even see as much as $30. Beyond that is just ridiculous. It's a toy and the sheer enjoyment of it lasts only so long.
Well, let's just hope that maybe we'll see something down the road. With nothing at Toyfair and no news in oh, I don't know how long, it's not looking good. The next convention that we need to keep an eye on would be SDCC, I guess. If nothing shows up there, then it's about time I read the writing on the wall that's been screaming at me and just move on.

Clearly such figures as the unreleased stuff is more intended to be a collectible instead of used in a game. I can only imagine the sheer horror of playing with a Production Series 5 Liam and it breaking.
I do imagine some of the easier stuff as unpainted non production stuff still will show up in the twenty dollar range, at least for the time being. Seems that none of this stuff is recent, plus the face a lot of the figures that have shown up are molded in the same color, thats indicative of being shot at the same time.
I know I'll be picking up alot of the unreleased stuff, just for my own collection. Also some of the figures that that are simple headswaps/minor remolds, Its possible if I am able to get them, I'll check the interest in providing them to the masses.

Yes, I'd be interested in them if they were reasonable.
Marvel is what I am seriously interested in. Of the S5 Star Wars there's only a handful. Of the Transformers I am looking for Soundwave, Grimlock, and a couple of others, nothing real notable seems how 50% or more were just rehashes.

I was able to fix my Pink and Black Mr Fantastic proto. Now he shoots out his hand. I just need to find him the correct size base, and get some labels printed up. If there was a market for repros I could maybe see helping the cause.

On the bay. They were Test shots. They sold fairly quickly. I would have snatched them up if I had seen them first.
Edit: More than likely the Production level painted items that show up, will not be sold with buyitnows, they will be regular auctions to try to milk as many dollars as possible. And its even more possible they will not be on ebay.

The rest of SW5 we'll try to make from existing figures and head swaps. I'm thinking a decent re-paint can get a good Ghost Yoda result, putting Kit's head on Mace's body, etc.

If interested, I can do perfect replications of Hasbro made labels. I'm very interested. As much as I love the Tix Tool label maker, it's great, the font style for the points number and figure name are not quite the same as Hasbro labels. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful for TixTool.

Have to remove the cap at the end of the arm first. Heat should work wonders.

Even molding & casting certain heads such as Qui-Gon, Emperor, Ponda, etc. would allow putting them on to existing bodies.

I'm thinking a decent re-paint can get a good Ghost Yoda result, putting Kit's head on Mace's body, etc. I just looked at his ended auctions. Since he uses store inventory its a bit tricky. So just from looking at photos here is what you need to make half of the Series 5 booster figures. Imperial Cadet : Series 3 Imperial Officer Starter Set Head, Death Star Gunner Body, Series 3 Imperial Officer gun among others Battle Droid: Any Battle droid Yoda: Series 1 Yoda, Mystique, Daredevil or Poker Wolverines Stand. Red Leader: Series 3 X-wing Pilot or Wedge with New Helmet paint job Plo Koon Striker: Series 1 Plo Koon's Head, Series 2 Jedi Knight Body Qui-gon: New Head, Series 2 Vader body, Mystique, Daredevil or Poker Wolverines Stand. R5-D4: New Head, R2-D2 Body Emperor: Series 2 Darth Sidious Head, Series 1 Palpatine Body Mystique, Daredevil or Poker Wolverines Stand. Kit Fisto: New Head (could get away with Series 2 Striker Fisto Head), Series 2 Shooter Mace Body There is fairly easy kit bashes of some other figures that would kinda look right Such as the V-wing Pilot body and Tie Pilot head is a decent At-At Driver Captain Antilles with a new head kinda works as Ponda Baba "If there was a market for repros I could maybe see helping the cause"This really piques my curiosity, please indulge us more... Even molding & casting certain heads such as Qui-Gon, Emperor, Ponda, etc. would allow putting them on to existing bodies. Well if there was enough people interested I may feel up to helping the cause with either fully articulated repros, or modified but functioning figures, or basically be Single piece statues that the end user could mod into functioning figures or have just to have representations. Please share how you fixed him. I'm thinking split the arm along the seam and the latch part on the shaft must be messed up. Have to remove the cap at the end of the arm first. Heat should work wonders. I did take the arm apart, which wasn't hard since it wasn't totally sealed up, and corrected the bends in the arm plunger. Sadly didnt take photos of it. But I imagine all of the Pink and Black Mr Fantastics suffer from needing a little tweak to the plunger part.
