I bought a few booster packs on ebay a week or 2 ago and 2 of the people i got have problems with them i got a royal guard that wont strike. i followed the steps that yoda breaker had for fixing that, by spraying wd-40 around his waist, but he still wont strike. i got kit fisto and darth sidious, and i used this technique on them, and it worked to perfection, and the 2 strikers are great. but i dont understand why it wont work with the royal guard. please reply if you have any suggestions. another problem i have is that my new jedi knight wont click. i have no clue how to fix it. again please reply if you know how the fix either of these. thanks

Gently try some dental floss on the royal guard, sometimes that does the trick. They were often stuck because of how tight they were manufactured.

Also, try pulling them apart a bit, holding the torso in one hand and the feet in your other hand. You don't want to apply too much force to break it, but pulling them apart a bit might separate the socket enough to get rid of some of that friction.
Worse comes to worse, take a modeling knife and shred off just a few layers of plastic in between the two halves.
BTW - The royal guards are notorious for not swinging very strong. I think the mold just didn't quite work out as they intended. I have only one of them that actually works well enough to use in a game - the others are just too weak.

And don't give up on the WD-40. Use the little nozzle tube and just a small squirt at the seam can do wonders. I resisted it for the longest time because I thought the smell would be too strong, but apply just a little and have a lint free cloth ready and wipe off any excess. Work the mechanism back & forth and spray a little more if necessary. Then start striking more and more and it should start working much better. You can always try this after the other suggestions too, the combination of which might do the trick. This has brought "Dead" Darth Mauls, Tion Medons and Royal Guards to life. However, you might have a broken striker mech... Maybe we need to squirt a little WD-40 on this Forum...
