Good for you!
Have teams then if it floats yer boat! You can play that each person on a team gets one move/action per turn and each side takes turns using their move/attack action. Pretty simple, and both sides still get their 2 actions per side.

And the number of players works out perfectly. With 15 players you can for 8 2-man teams and run single elimination (or double depending on time). When you do single elimination, half of the teams leave the tournament bracket every time so 4,8,16,32 are the most ideal #'s of players.
You may also want to consider some basis of hosting people. Seating, table space, confirming time with your guests, optional food/drink, music, and having plans ready for the next event.
Most of all, make sure you have fun!

Thanks! I have thought about this pretty hard. Do you think it's better to have each player to do his/her move and attacks (2), or to have each player only have one attack, as superfly said? Do you think I shuld charge a $1 fee? I'm only

You are only.....?
If you are charging $1, make sure that people know why they are paying it and they know ahead of time. If someone doesn't have a dollar, do they not get to play? What if they have $1, but don't want to pay? Why would a person want to pay $1, what motivation do they have? These are some things to consider.
I did one of these with two man teams once, I had it go where each player made their moves and attacks, then a player from the opposite side made their moves and attacks. You might consider doing it this way, so people who are unfamiliar with the game get used to making all moves, then 2 attacks. You should also consider what happens when one player is eliminated, does the remaining player on that team take every other turn or every third turn?
Best of luck, BTW, when do you have it planned for?
