I am considering re-painting an R2-D2 and changing the effect to be "You may look at the bottom of X of your opponent's figures" (where X is whatever R2-D2 spins, 1, 2, 3 or 4). My question is, how much should this figure cost?
I'm thinking that the ability to do this every turn would be very powerful - so I'm thinking 30 points would be about right.
I am just curious to see what people think.

Good idea, Chris.
At first I would say that he should be 10 points for every figure he potentially could be used against. So 40 points. However, at that cost not many would want to use him. Especially since he has no attack. He has good defense though, being a stout as he is. So I would settle on 30 points. Seems fair due to how powerful he could potentially be.

I'd go either 20 or 30 points, I guess I'd want to try him out first, but since you'd always get to look at at least one probably 30 points.

That is a game changer.... I would actually change things a bit: 1=See one opponent's window 2=See two opponent's window 3=See three opponent's window 4=Malfunction! Your opponent gets to see your window.
Also, a player may NOT look at his special window, only the person indicated by the R2. I'd say if you leave the fig with the ability to potentially look at 4 opponent's figures special status I would make it 40 points as that is an overwhelming advantage.

Chris, Great idea. Superfly, I love your input. That's really cool. I'd test him out as a 10 pointer other wise 20, but I have a hard time justifying 20 points for something that doesn't shoot.

Thanks for your input - I think I'm going to test it out and make it 20 points, and add a -1 to the R2 spin, so if you spin a 1 then you really get 0 and cannot check any figures that turn. So you can look at the bottom of 1, 2, or 3 figures each turn. We'll see how that does.
