Didn't Wizards of the Coast take over Attacktix? If that's the case, could we set up with DCI Tournament Rankings/Rules so that we could attract a greater audience?
There's a lot of gamers that look at DCI rankings, and I would think that they look at all kinds of games on there to see what else is available for them to compete in.
Just a thought!

That would be cool, but no. Hasbro is still in control of Attacktix. I don't see why DCI couldn't still be involved (not fully sure what DCI is), but as of now, Hasbro still controls /Tix.

Hasbro pretty clearly can't handle a collectible game so they should hand Attacktix over to WotC, they would know what to do with it. A pretty cool idea would be to even incorporate MTG and D&D characters into Attacktix figures (not sure how well it would work out for non strikers though). As for DCI, I'm not quite sure if Attacktix could be a part of it, likely due to number player constraints as well as the stopped production.

I don't think that WOTC could handle Attacktix at this moment even if they wanted to. With Heroscape still fresh on their plates they have enough to worry about. You figure they are still trying to figure out how to launch Mavelscape wave 1.

That's true, and their real focus right now is to take care of the new D&D and MTG to make sure they're as good and sell as well as possible. Hopefully one day though... and if not WotC, then hopefully someone just as competent.

Exactly. And I'm not 100% sure that WOTC would be a great fit for Attacktix anyways. Don't they focus more so on miniatures? Not sure if they would even be interested in this type of game. At this point I'm not sure if Hasbro is anymore.

Well, if you ever wanted to get one of your tournaments DCI sanctioned, I believe this would be the forum to help. forumBTW, what does DCI stand for?

It used to stand for Duelist Convocation International, but now it is just the acronym really.
