If blackheart is killed on the first turn and he is on white (with none of your figures dead at the time) deos he stay alive? or is he dead?

the way I play, he wouldn't be able to come back. I see his first part as a condition. If you can't remove a defeated figure, then he can't come back. Again, that's just how I see it/play.
BTW, I absolutley love Blackheart. I own only three now, but sadly don't use him as often as I'd like.

Yes, same with SP3 venom if there is no defeated opponents figure it simply does not work.

wait wait wait... so blackheart removes one of YOUR defeated figures?!? oh wow... we've been using him to remove opponents defeated figures making him crazy powerful since we use medic droids as a "kill droid" ((tick him when ever you kill someone, 5 kills you get someone back)) but if you have to remove one of your own figures then that makes him kinda suck since he's not really a great striker. someone please clarify, When Blackheart dies do you remove one of your defeated figures, or one of your opponents defeated figures?

With Blackheart and Venom It states "your opponents defeated area".
So in order to activate their specials you need to have defeated at least one of you opponents first.
