How much? And TF1 didn't have Bonus Decepticlone did it? Pick up any TMNT's? They were out of the one's I was talking about, but now have the movie version, Turtles and Splinter are good size, but Villians are woefully small.

Well I was being bored when I realized that I honestly have never heard of a TJ Maxx. So I went on the site to see if I might recognize their logo or something, and I didn't. But before I left the site I noticed one thing at the top of the screen, in all caps saying IMPORTANT CUSTOMER ALERT. I clicked it to find this letter. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LETTER FROM TJX’S PRESIDENT AND CEO
October 11, 2007
To Our Valued Customers:
At TJX, our first priority always has been and continues to be, our customers. I want each of you to know how much I personally and, on behalf of the Company, regret any difficulties you may have experienced as a result of the criminal attacks on our computer systems announced earlier this year. Importantly, we truly appreciate that you have continued to place your trust in us with your loyalty and patronage.
We remain committed to providing our customers a safe shopping environment as you shop for great values, fashion and brands. TJX has been working diligently with some of the world’s best computer security firms to further enhance our computer security. We have also continued to work with law enforcement and government agencies and very much want to see that the sophisticated cyber criminals who attacked our computer systems are brought to justice.
We have worked diligently to reach a settlement, which we believe would offer an excellent resolution for our customers, addressing the different ways that they have told us that they have been impacted by the computer intrusion(s). (Like all class action settlements, our settlement is subject to Court approval and other conditions, and therefore, customers cannot yet seek benefits.) We have provided a separate link, below, to additional information regarding the proposed settlement.
To learn more about steps you can take to protect your credit and debit card information, I encourage you to access the information we are providing on this website or to contact our special customer helplines listed below.
Once again, we sincerely regret any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of the attacks on our computer system. We are deeply grateful for your continued trust and patronage.
Respectfully,
Carol Meyrowitz President and Chief Executive Officer ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So maybe and hopefully, this is why you were all finding those starters, but unfortunately if this was the case they won't be selling anymore of them...

Yeah, I just replied elsewhere about Dollar General. I picked up series 5 SW today. They had one, and no other attacktix. I've been looking for a while, including this very store two days ago. Finally I have it, and there is much rejoicing.

I found 2 S2 TF starter sets today at Dollar General. Thanks for the tip stepitfast. I haven't had any luck at Dollar General. I've been to 3 in my area, but all they had were some TF Universe toys and some SW Unleashed sets.

Stopped by the Dollar General just up the road today...happy to find SW4 and 5, TF1 and 2 starters. TJ Maxx is about cleared out of 'tix stuff, though they have a lot of sigma 6 I noticed...

First TJ Maxx & associated stores. Now Dollar General?
Yet another nail in the coffin that is hiatus.

Yes, I don't consider these finding to be a positive for Attacktix in general. (general-no pun intended) On another note. I went to more Dollar Generals today. It seems that they all get 1 box per store. I am finding exactly 2 SW S5 starter sets and 1 TF S2 starter sets. That is the correct mixture that was being sold on EE a few months back. Also, they have titanium figures AND ships. I saw the AT-AT that Superfly customized into an awesome mega for $8.00. They also had the Tie Bomber and an ARC Ship. These would be easily made into customs for whoever has the time and talent.

Aw, man, I can't find TF2 starter anywhere! Waaah! More seriously and less selfishly, I think hiatus may have turned into the end of the line for Attacktix (agree with SFX5000). And if anyone knows me, they know I think positively yet realistically. I think a well crafted to the point letter sent certified return receipt mail to the CEO or appropiate high up at Hasbro simply asking the status of Attacktix is not too far fetched. The least they could do is ignore it. And there's a slight chance they might answer it. We deserve to know and be spared from this waiting game.

Like you said, the worst they could do is ignore it. I had some luck at one of my local DG stores today. Two SW-S5 Starters and one TF-S2 Starter. It looks like that pattern you discovered still holds true, Greyelephant. I'll continue looking around at the other stores in my area. In the mean time, the 3 starters that I picked up today, as well as any others that I may find, will be up for trade if anyone's interested.

The thing that is frusterating about DG is that you MUST scour the whole store.
One thing I noticed is that the Attacktix boxes have a "DG Bargains" sticker attached to them. When you walk into the store, look up at the ceiling. Two or even possibly more of them has a big sign that read "DG Bargains" above the area where I found the starter sets.
Otherwise make sure you look EVERYWHERE. There seems to be no real pattern as to where you might find them. I found them on the bottom shelf behind other toys. I found just one TF starter set on the top shelf. I found them in the DG Bargains areas. I found them on an end cap.
Frusterating, but atleast I found 6 of them. ;D

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I got 3 S1 Marvel starters and 3 S2 Marvel Starters online at $3.99 apiece! I cleared out the online store (unfortunately that's all they had), and I'm quite pleased; they just arrived today. I can't quite decide whether to trade one or two of the S2 sets on the trading boards. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
