I finally went to Tj Maxx hoping beyond all hope that they would have series 5 star wars. Unfortunatly they didn't but they did have series 2 transformers so i got that. But since i don't collect those i am most likely going to sell it on e-bay.

I thought that way too once, that I'd just collect Star Wars, but they got me. Now I collect them all. ;D

Wow, man I am excited that Hasbro's finally actually pulling through! *I had to raise my eyebrows and grin and think exciting thoughts about Attacktix for a spurt of adrenaline to flow through my body and make me excited again; after reading all seven pages of this thread, the sheer delight has kind of worn off* Personally, I think Hasbro is going to come through. Maybe not in this century (yes, sorry Hasbro, I'm picking on you again) but I think they'll make it, at least with SW S5 and TF/MV S2. I'd love to go to a TJ Max now... but I think I'd more likely get them off eBay. Transportation issues... though in about 1 year and three months those should be somewhat resolved... I'm 14 and 9 months old today, and I got my permit! Yeah! Whoops, off topic in my excitement. Anyway, Chewie's speed is sweet! Thanks for the mistake, Webhead!

Just fyi, the TJ Maxx nearest me, which previously had no 'Tix, now has a profusion of Marvel stuff (M1 starter, M2 starter, SM3 set, boosters) and some random SW4 and TF1 stuff. So, it appears this stuff is still trickling in...

Yes, I have found more as well. I found tons of boosters at one of them for $2.99.

I'm surprised you guys find so much of the spiderman tournament set. In Australia i've seen sw-5 star wars starter twice and marvel series two starter once at kmart and they were on clearance? I havent seen the spidey tourney set yet though in Aus. If any one has spidey tourney i am willing to buy. PM me if interested. Cheers

Today at an HEB Plus (Texas grocery store trying to compete with Wal-Mart/Target) in Leander Texas (north of Austin) I saw 4 Star Wars Series 5 Starters at regular price. Perhaps this is more encouraging than the recent sightings in T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and related stores because HEB does not carry discounted/discontinued merchandise. I have noticed that occasionally HEB gets new toy lines or series (especially Hasbro) before Wal-Mart or Target so maybe this is an early sign?

I think there may have been a limited window on the T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, etc thing. I went to all of them in town and found some old stuff at T.J.Maxx and old and new stuff at Marshalls but only for a few days. It does not appear they have a huge supply that is being continually shipped week after week. I kept going for a few weeks hoping for a couple more TF2 Starters but none so far.

What figures did you get (if you bought them). Heck, if you aren't interested in buying them yourself go to the store and take a picture of them on the shelves. You could have the find of the year on your hands.

I think he's talking about the starter sets, not the booster packs. Regardless, I'm looking forward to when either the boosters or the starters come out near me.

Yes, I was talking about starters ONLY. Had there been boosters I certainly would have bought them out and I would have happily taken the picture after I got home...
