100 points is the "standard" game...but even the rulebook recommends larger games like 200 and 500 points.
200 point tournaments seem to be popular right now. What's nice, 200 point teams play a lot differently than 100 point teams...you can afford characters that might not make the cut at 100, but really shine with greater numbers or better support.

Yeah, I agree 100% 200 is almost perfect! 100 still leaves the outcome to a significant amount of luck. More than 200 while extremely fun to play might be too long and drawn out for tournament play. 200 is the prime amount, in my opinion (heh I think I started a trend at my Tourney!).

I agree witht the 200pt team concept. The games last longer and you can make mistakes without complete failure.

Hasbro sanctioned tournaments are currently 100 points, up to 50 points back ups, no megas.
Of course all this is subject to change over time. I hope they will eventually run multiple tournaments.
100 point, 200 point, 500 point, 1000 point megas only (or at least mostly). That would make conventions awesome.

So if you have 200 pt or more squad, do you get another 2 attacks for every additional 100 points? Because only 2 attacks every round on a 1000 pt team would take hours! and a lot of coffee.

For a 200 pt match, 2 attacks is fine. You don't really find yourself with too many guys, even if you use all 10 pointers. The only time we have house ruled more attacks is when you get to 400 pts or above.

Yeah, our house rules when we play the larger epic games can be as many as 4 attacks per turn, but then we also limit the figure movement to the same 4 as well, so that you are not moving ALL those figures EVERY turn.
