I actually keep a spreadsheet of who I have and how many of each. After my latest ebay purchases, I will have exactly 175 figures.

Wow!!! I have been collecting since the NYC toy fair and I only have 100 guys on the dot!!!! But maybe it is because I am a person with a very insignificant income.

Yeah, I've bought a bunch of "lots" (spending about $1 per figure) on eBay with plans for resale and vending, but mostly they just end up in my toy crane at the arcade, still making me a very small profit and the kids like it.

you have probably won alot of the lots that i wanted to win.
I have won about 20 lots and only pay about $1 a piece also.

I would say between my son and I we have about 400. I also have my nephews at my house also so if you want to included them I'd say about 600.
