I'm playing a standard tournament game, with 100 point builds.
After several turns have been played, I have 12 figures in play.
How is this possible?
UPDATE:
We've seen 12, and now the record for most figs in play stands at 14 (8 Battle Droids, 1 Medic Droid, 5 Battle Droids in Reserve).
Can anyone beat having 14 figures in play?

There are several possibilities here. I will suggest this one ... You begin the game with ten common Battle Droids on the field and five in backups. In turn one, your opponent knocks out one of them. The Attacktix gods smile upon you and, amazingly, the special power turns up white. You now have eleven in play. In the second turn, another Battle Droid is defeated and---in the most unlikely twist of fate---that one also is white! You wet yourself and immediately put two more Battle Droids into play, bringing your total to twelve. In theory, this could happen one more time and you could bring your last remaining backup into play, bringing your total to thirteen. I must say, though, that---even after playing approximately 30 games last year, using one or more Battle Droids---I have never had one of them turn up white even once. I gave up on Battle Droids---and most of the rest of the Droid Army, for that matter---after that. It is, however, theoretically possible. So what do I win?

I have played several times with 10 battle droids and 5 in back-ups. And have had white droids come up twice in a game a couple of times. If you have less than 5 battle droids in your squad, you likely will never see a white one.
I was trying to think of a way jedi knights would work for this riddle.
**update**
It appears to me (after reviewing all 10 point figures) that the only figures you could use that would bring you to this situation are battle droids or imperial officers. They both have a 2x rally/recruit.

There is a third option, perhaps, ... Wedge. He brings in two pilots, but at 30 points you can only have three of him in play at a time.
Perhaps one Wedge and seven Imperial Officers, with two pilots and three 10-point troopers in backups?
Let's see ... Wedge goes down, two pilots come in ... total figures becomes nine.
Imperial Officer goes down, total becomes eleven.
Another Imperial Officer goes down, total turns to twelve.
And this scenario (with 15% on Imperial Officers and 31% on Wedge) might actually happen!

In theory, this could happen one more time and you could bring your last remaining backup into play, bringing your total to thirteen. Actually...you would stay at 12.

Wedge doesn't recruit two pilots, he rallies them back from the defeated pile.
If you start out with 8 battle droids and a medic droid, that would put you at nine figures. Over a series of turns, you could lose two battle droids that could recruit four more, bringing the total to 11. Given enough time (and a very poor attacking opponent) you could rally those original two battle droids with the medic droid, bringing your total to 13.

I was just working on a 8 battle droid medic droid combo! Ya beat me to it I guess.

Wedge doesn't recruit two pilots, he rallies them back from the defeated pile. That's what I get for relying on memory instead of actually looking. Actually...you would stay at 12. And that's what I get because it's been so long since I took the Miller Analogies Test and the Graduate Record Examination. That's okay, though ... thanks for the corrections!

Let's see, with 8 Battle Droids, 1 Medic Droid in play, 5 Battle Droids in reserve...if the first three Battle Droids all hit their recruits, you'd be at 11 figs, then over 15 more turns, you could recover the three that were knocked out, bringing you to a total of 14 figures in play...groovy!

Youve got 8 droids & the emperor, emperor posesses, that could count as 11 then two more droids go down....That would make mroe than 12 wouldnt it?

Well, I suppose if you were playing with five Battle Droids, the Medic Droid, S2 Bossk, and five Battle Droids in backups, then eventually you could have 12 figures in play right there. And if Bossk was rallied enough to capture all of the opponent's figures, you could gain 13 more (vs the original team total of 13 Battle Droids + the Medic Droid... I know some folks think the Medic Droid can attack, but I'm counting him as being unable to knock out Bossk). That would put 25 figures on your team, with the opponent only having his Medic Droid left.
