I looked through the FAQ & while I am sure this has been addressed somewhere, there is so many FAQ notes now that its tough to find the exact answer.. lol So if I may humbly ask it here (or please post a link to where the answer is posted, thanks). The one thing that all the guys I play with still debate about is the "post attack" position of the figures. For example, after a shot is fired from a launcher figure, we know that the base cannot be moved at all (to include being swiveled), but what about the gun/arm? Can it be lowered.. or does it need to remain "stuck out" (which, in some cases, makes the figure off balance & extremely easy to knock over)? In the case of Boba Fett.. does he get to stand back up? Or does he essentially play the rest of the game "bent over" if he is used in consecutive attacks? (I know that when he is reloaded he could be made to stand back up.. but from the opponents point of view.. if he needs to stay where he is after he fires.. and if he fires every turn.. then the opponent will only ever get to attack a "bent over" Fett, etc). Any clarification help would be great guys.. thanks.

Alas, you must keep the figure in exactly the position it was left in after your attack. This definitely causes some nasty imbalances with certain figures (the Wookiee Scout from Series 1 being perhaps the most notable example), so you must be cautious about attacking with figures who will be unbalanced by raising their guns to attack.
Especially Boba Fett. He stays bent over, ready for a good spankin' down (by Tion Medon, for a particularly creepy effect).

Funny stuff man. Ok, thanks for the answer. I guess all of a sudden non-launcher figures seem to have a slight advantage there because they generally "snap back" into their original balanced position after attacking, whereas most launcher figures don't get to return to their original position. But maybe this was figured into the plan from the get-go.. & is just part of the plus & minus of the various figures. Anywho.. I appreciate the quick response bro.

Or, you could use a "dignity for Boba Fett" house rule and let him stand back up after attacking...

Well it takes one hell of alot of practise but hes actualy really powerfull if you shoot while hes standing up! If you get the trejectory right you can easily kill a figure in one hit. My bobba has killed everyone he has hit in every game ive ever played him in! If on the way down it hits a lightsaber or stuck out gun for instance, he is garunteed to knock the opponent over! I traded my bobba a few weeks ago but he kicks ass! I was sceptical till I got my first hit with him, try it out, it only took me about two weeks of practice to get my first hit

So you shoot it at the ceiling and hope it hits your opponents' figures as it falls down? Or do you slightly angle it and try to nick the top of the opposing figure?

Its kinda like when you use a force blast to shoot over someone, you can either shoot it slightly angled and hit them in the head (works if the enemy model is top heavy) or shoot it directly up in the air, if it hits the opponents lightsaber or gun or something it will garuntee to take them out. (takes alot of practise).

Me and Attacktixrulz has a house rule that states that a full attack by a launcher consists of raising the gun, shooting, then lowering the gun back into position as it was before the attack. The figure must remain as it was prior to the actual firing of the missle (unless the figure was turned in order to aim).

The figure must remain as it was prior to the actual firing of the missle (unless the figure was turned in order to aim). I honestly think it SHOULD be that way.. 1. That is all part of the firing process. Think of when you fire a gun (deer hunting, B-B gun, whatever).. you lift it, aim, then lower it. You don't stand it the woods afterwards holding the gun in the aim position, etc. 2. It would make it more fair for the shooters. Strikers, by their very action, get to "snap back" into their original (designed) balanced position. Why should they get to return to their original position & shooters not? I understand that it is part of the automatic spring action, but just because the return for shooters would be manual, doesn't mean that it shouldn't be done. lol.. don't get me wrong, I am not trying to rock the boat here. I understand that Hasbro has set the rule.. its just don't agree with it & my reasons above, I think, make a decent argument.
