One of my few regrets about AttackTix was there was no dice used, which is a shame, dice are fun! And can help balance out a game.. So I decided to housrule die, which changes the game significantly.
Vitality:
All figurines have a vitality of 16. Vitality is like a figurine's health, whenever it's hit damage die shows how much damage is dealt and that's subtracted from the figurine's vitality. You may want to keep a notepad handy.
Damage Dice:
When an attack succesfuly hits (IE: when the figurine touches the other figurine with an attack) you roll a d12 to determine damage, BUT the opponent at this time can declare a defnese, he/she rolls a d8 to reduce the d12 die roll's damage by the amount on the roll of the d8. Damage lowerd this way can go no lower then 0.
Number of attacks per turn:
Unlike the normal two per turn, you roll a d4 to determine how many attacks you can peform, unlike before, you may attack more then once with the same figure in the same turn.
Who go's first?
The person with the most characters of the same respective alingment go's first, say for instance someone makes a team composed of Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and two stormtroopers, and someone else has a team of General Grievous, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Boba Fett, everyone on the first player's team is darkside in nature. So he/she gets to go first.
Point Value:
To avoid a bucket of dice, keep the point value of the game under 100.
Knocked Down:
Rules that would normaly apply to being knocked down are instead replace with "destroyed" IE: the special activates when you drop to 0 vitality. Knocked down still has a place in AttackTix though, if a figurine IS knocked down, it stays knocked down untill the end of your next turn, meaning it cannot move or attack, if all your figures are knocked down on the same turn, you lose the game.
