This is a little late to be asking this question, but I wanted to make sure I was playing the game right. When a figure has a free attack, can it attack twice in one turn? I'm guessing no, but just wanted to clear things up.

No. A single figure can not attack twice in one turn. The free attack goes to another figure. For example, you have 5 figures in play and can only make two attacks. On your next turn you get a free attack and can then attack with three seperate figures.

Huh, go figure. Can you use a "move and attack" on a figure that has already attacked, just to get the movement?
And if that is a yes,...if they can move twice, how come they can't attack twice?
I'm getting a bit skeptical.
Wouldn't the base effect over rule the general game play rules?
I'm not pretending I know, but this one seems to be in the grey area to me.

I think he was meaning like kit fistos special for an extra attack next turn because hasbro said free move and attacks COULD be reloaded.

I have always played that a figure can only attack once per turn. So if mr fisto gives you a free attack you would have to have a minimum of 3 figures in the game so you can attack 3 times.
The same thing could be said for our friend gold KAM. If you have 3 of them, and your opponent takes out 2 and one of them gives you "free move and attack for up to three of your jedi", does that mean your one remaining KAM can attack 3 times? No, I personally dont think so.

If you are talking about base effects (special powers) then you are attackting (i.e. attackback) during your opponents turn, not your turn. So if you get attackback or shootback you attack once during your opponents turn then can attack with that figure again during your turn. But not twice in one turn.

OK, lets say you attack Palpantine with your General Grievous. Palpatines force blast pops out and kills one of your Grievious Bodyguards (he's white) can the same General Grievous move and attack again? That's more along the line I was thinking.

Yes he can. Special powers take effect immediately, so you could reload Grievous and fire away again.

Right... The original question is about added turns (via R2 or Battle Cry) and you can only attack with as many as you have. Even though rules say you get two attacks per turn, if you only have one guy left, you only get ONE attack.
But, Special Powers ALWAYS over ride the game rules.
