Tonight we were playing a game of 630. During play, my brother shot at Bossk. Bossk's gun was loaded and pointed straight ahead. When he hit him, Bossk did not go down, but the impact of the bullet caused Bossk's gun to fire straight at one of my brother's other guys.
It nicked him and bounced off so we luckily didn't have to make a rule judgement call. (it was a close match)
But what should we have done if his guy went down?
I thought it should go down. He thought it should not. But the truth is, I can see both sides of that. I was saying it is down because if one guy hits another off the table it counts. So chain reactions do in some cases. But I do see this as something else.

I think this has been discussed in another thread, but I can't seem to find it. Anyway, I think it counts under the same ruling that says if you accidentally shoot your own figure, your guy's out.

I would say that counts, because in the rules is says something like if you accidently knock over one of your own figs, it's still dead.

Yes, the figure would be dead.
Only if your hand, arm, or other part of your person knocks over a figure can you reset him.
If a figure goes down in any other way (attack bounces around, ATRT falls on your guy, etc) they are DEAD!
