Anyone out there know if there's a good (or better than I am doing currently) way to dry enamel paints faster? I am using Testor's enamel solely.
Thanks!

None that I've heard of. I actually got so fed up with enamels taking so long to dry that I finally just switched to acryillics, myself. They dry MUCH quicker - minutes instead of days.

Based on some PM's with superflytnt, it's looking like Attacktix plastic is of the variety that reacts with the solvents in enamel paints to create the never-drying effect. So I strongly recommend people avoid enamels entirely.

I will report on my oven-tests. I have a VERY accurate thermocouple and I will attempt to find the melt points of the various materials that make up Attacktix, as well as experiment to see if I can 'glaze' these with Enamels and then dry them in a conventional oven (hopefully AFTER the VOC's have flashed off so I don't start a fire)...

I suspect the torsos are generally thermoset plastic, which doesn't so much melt as simply catch fire. ---Dave
