As BobaFetch said, I made a Dr. Doom custom yesterday. Doctor Doom ATTACKTIX CLASS: Leader MARVEL CLASS: Doom Army POINT VALUE: 40 BASE SPEED: 8 DEFENSE: Large base SPECIAL POWER: Vengeance-Attacker SPECIAL POWER RATIO: 62% ATTACK TYPE: Shooter, Striker- Lightening Missile A brilliant scientist, Doom was once a classmate of the Fantastic Four's Reed Richards. However, he became embittered by his jealousy of Richards and by facial scars received from an experiment gone awry, and perhaps from impatiently donning a steaming-hot iron mask forged by mystic monks. Doom is considered the archenemy of the Fantastic Four. He is one of the comic book industry's most recognizable and archetypal supervillains. At forty points, Doctor Doom is both a striker and shooter, similar to Captain America. While also sharing the balanced 8 speed with the Captain, Doom has a larger base, giving him a little extra respect on the field. His special power is Vengeance-Attacker, thinking that when you hit down Doctor Doom, you aren't coming back! I thought about giving him a special power that was a Vengeance-Recover combo, but that was just too much. Hope you like it!

Very nice customs, guys! A bit rough around the edges on some points (primarily Spidey's chest logo and Doom's face) but overall they are quite good and much better than anything I've ever done.

Off-hand, I'd say (and I'm just guessing) that they used a Force Blast Palpatine...

Took my Darth Sidious and carved away most of the bottom of his robe to make legs (Which took friggin forever!) Then, I lopped off his arm with these huge scissors I found, and replaced it with a Plo Koon arm (Note the fact he has only four fingers). Next I took a SVT Vader's cape and attached it to his back. From there it was just a repaint.
I want to paint him again, adding more detail and maybe perhaps a darker shade of green, but that's just if I get the time.

I to would like to repaint my Spidey or at least his logo. It was poorly painted, and I used a toothpick. Which was difficult because I never used one before. I would much rather free hand it. I don't know what it will turn our like, it might be worse (well it can't get too much worse than it already is lol)

Well, I'd advise against the toothpick (or thumbtack, if you use those) at this point. Speaking from the little experience I have with designs, I'd use a small (#0 or so) Testors (or equivilent) paint brush for the design itself, then when you have the shape right and the design solid, go in with the thumbtack (or toothpick, but I find I prefer thumbtacks myself) and clean up the lines.
Hope that helps with the second attempt. They ARE awesome, though...

The best way to make really nice detail work is to get some masking tape, then an X-acto and mask the area to be painted. Wait for it to dry (like 2 days to be sure) and then peel off the masking. Makes for perfect symbology!
