Hi. I don't collect Attacktix at all but I do collect Marvel minimates. The Green Goblin figure they released doesn't come with a goblin glider... something in the contract about their figures not being able to have vehicles or something.
Anyway, I saw the Attacktix Green Goblin that came in the booster pack online and it got me to thinking and now I could really use some help with answering my questions about this figure.
Does the glider connect to the smoke base or are they seperate parts? Does the glider connect to the Green Goblin?
What kind of plastic are they made out of? Soft or hard?
Would it be possible to cut whatever parts are connected to the glider off or would that pretty well mangle it?
Finally, how long across is the glider?
Thank you for any help you can give me,
Matt

Anyway, I saw the Attacktix Green Goblin that came in the booster pack online and it got me to thinking and now I could really use some help with answering my questions about this figure. A starter set perhaps? Green Goblin can be found in the Marvel Heroes and Spider-Man Origins Starter Sets, but not in the blind boosters. The New Goblin is included in the Spider-Man "tournament" Set. The glider has two rectangular-shaped pegs that lock into the smoke when not attacking. The glider is attached to the goblin. Depends how you define it, it is fairly rigid, but can be bent a little. I would think so with a sharp knife. It would just require a little care not to nick the raised edge of the glider's wing. Just shy of 2.5 inches across. It might be a little large for integration with a lot of other miniatures, but it would depend on which set you refer to I guess. No problem.

It's the old Green Goblin I'm talking about that came with that booster set along with Spidey, Wolverine and Sabertooth.
If it's 2.5 inches across that'll work great since the Green Goblin minimate (and all Marvel minimates) are 2 inches tall. If it's that small I can dunk it in boiling water to soften the plastic up before I remove ol' Norman.
Thanks so much for the help!

It's the old Green Goblin I'm talking about that came with that booster set along with Spidey, Wolverine and Sabertooth. The issue here is terminology, Attacktix boosters are currently blind two packs from which a set of 18 figures are obtained. The clear 4 packs are called Starter Sets. The classic Green Goblin sculpt is available in both The Marvel Heroes set you mentioned and Spider-Man Origins sets. Yeah it would work ok with mini mates, I misread it miniatures, my bad No problem, best of luck. ;D
