I know this thread is a bit dated, but I'm in disagreement regarding Captain America getting two attacks. I consider him to be strictly a launcher figure, not a launcher/striker like Sandman Mega. Captain America falls in the same category as, say, Chirpa. Chirpa without his rock can very effectively take down a figure. This doesn't mean Chirpa can launch his rock, then do a strike attack with his two sticks. I'd say Captain America only gets one attack - launching his shield. Whether you're good or bad at it will determine if he's worth 40 points!

Interesting point but I'd have to say that the Cap'n should get two attacks since he was given two knobs to shoot and a striking mechanism to strike. Although one could argue that the striking mechanism is meant to be the Cap throwing his shield and the knobs are just there if the player has bad aim. Oh, well, I guess we'll truly find out the answer when the "Master Rulebook" is released.

Knobs? Do those knobs do anything other than act as "handles" to hold onto while you're bring Captain's arm back to release his shield? Am I using Captain correctly?

Actually, you can press those two knobs together to shoot the shield, leaving his arm free to strike. It's a difficult attack to master, inasmuch as you have to coordinate the application of pressure to both knobs, rather than just a single button. It sounds like you were instead using his striking mechanism to fling the shield - is that correct?

But once you start hitting things, youll see that a good smack in the face with a shield will knock over anything not weighed down with a brick.

Wow!! I'm such a tard! I'm gonna have to go home tonight and try him out. Yes, I was bringing his arm back to send the shield soaring with no apparent direction. But I love those tricky figures that take time to master!! Thanks for the info!
Update - Just tried out Captain and he works freaking awesome! Is he the first non-mega striker/launcher combo??

Yay this makes a useless captain america figure a tad less useless.. Last stand on a unit that goes down quicker than applesauce in a retirement home (Hey I'm using civil language is'nt that great!?) So to justify these 40 points lets make this chaotic shooter and week striker a little more useful. Go rules!
