Unfortunately, formations are difficult because we have rules not allowing figures to touch (or using guns as tripods, etc.) Ahhh...so it basically sounds like you've biased the game in favor of launchers almost as much as possible through your house rules. The only other rule that I could think of that would bias the game even further toward launchers is to limit the number of figures that can move on any one turn - that helped kill my chances at TixCon Cool - glad I could at least help It sounds like special powers will really be your friends in these sorts of launcher-centric games.

Yeah i went ahead and tested an all-striker team against my brother. He was using four strikers, four launchers, and four force pushers. My ten striker, two shooter team lost and my brother had four guys left, which is sad cause hes an attacktix noob.
Special powers were not my friends here though. Vader went down and out the first time he was killed and Grievous didnt take out any warriors at his death. Plus Sidious got snagged by Boba which killed my comeback opportunity.

That set is the topic to heated debate, the key thingto remember is other than modified plastic and thingy on the bottom there is no difference between two figures that have strings. Now if you replace the string with a curly phone cord, man the Goblin can make some serious long distance bills on your face!

Is that some kind of attempt at humor?
