I recently got Mystique which has the effect(the thing on the back) "Possess" If you have another Brotherhood figure in play, as an attack you may take control of a figure Mystique is touching. Then remove Mystique from the game". Very powerful; I used this special against my opponent. Moved mystique up to an AT-RT, had Pyro, and possesed it. Do you think this is legal as well as cheap?

Cheap, legal, and oh so satisfying Your opponent should have either picked off Mystique or Pyro ;D

Perfectly legal and the perfect example of the 'tacktix' (tactics) part of Attacktix, I'd say.

Nothing cheap at all about it. Your opponent should have gunned her (or Pyro) down before Mystique got within 1 foot of the AT-RT.
In the almost two years that I've been playing and all matches, I've never taken over a Mega due to Capture, Mystique, or the Emperor. That must have been extremely fun to do!!!

Ah, the sweet taste of victory. Anyone dumb or unskilled enough to allow you to steal their Mega had it coming and deserved the throttling you handed them. I have to say, I had this done to me in a 400 point (with an additional 2 megas per team) match once, and it didn't force me to lose, but it certainly did hurt me quite a bit! The sad part is that it took me 2 shots to knock off old Empy, and when I did finally pick him off, he fell off, taking my ATRT with him, which fell onto 2 Obi Wans, one of which was black.
All in all, it was a very bad day for me, and a great strategy by my opponent!

I've only played against 2 Mystiques once and I gunned them both down first turn. Your opponent should have tried the same, their not very sturdy, a dribbling force blast easily killed one.

Okay then, does any one understand her "swap" special? Since it has the word 'replace', I thought of it similar to sacrifice special. So would a figure from your opponent's backups be yours but you'd have to put ur Mystique in their backups?

I don't believe you would place Mystique among your opponent's backups; you merely remove her figure from play.

Your opponent loses a back-up and Mystique "becomes" that figure.

I actually like the idea of putting her in the other player's backups... she did have a habit of switching loyalties a lot, in both the comics and the movie series.
