I got a Spider-Man Origins Starter Set last night (it came in the mail from eBay), and I was surprised at the numbering of the figures.
The four figures are numbered SM5, SM6, SM7, and SM8. Which of course begs the question, were/who are SM1, SM2, SM3, and SM4?
Was this a mistake, or will there be additional Spider-Man Origins Figures?

So basically, 3 of the same figures that are available in the boosters, and then a repaint of a figure (Spidey Launcher) in a booster.
Some of their classes/costs and all their specials are of course different though from those available in the boosters.

Was this a mistake, or will there be additional Spider-Man Origins Figures? If it's a mistake, it seems like a very large one. I know we've talked extensively about the misspellings, but this seems to be in a different class. I'd guess there are more figures to come. And if there are, it's weird to me that the first ones out would be the 5-8 rather than the 1-4. (Or maybe they did that to give us the hint that there was more to follow?)

In my opinion the prize in the starter is the armored spider-man... I dont like giant plastic lobbers (like force blasts), but I think they are a steal at 20 points.

I just don't understand why they do this. Just to make a buck, like they have not made enough already. It's a shame they wouldn't just make new figures for the set.

I totally hear you... however, that's the reality we are in with the toy market... Lots of figures are either the same or repaints. In fact, many of the figures in SW5 and TF2 are repaints or combinations of existing figures (and other SW lines as well).
