I just got a Spider-Man on the pole, and he is backwards from all the other pictures that I have seen (the Attacktix site, back of booster box, and Starter Guide).
If the figure's front label is facing you, then you are looking at Spiderman's back. His left arm has been glued on the top of the pole, and his right at the bottom (just like the picturs) - but his body looks like it's been snapped on backwards!
This makes his kick terribly ineffective, because the range of motion of his foot doesn't extend beyond his body hardly at all. He also can literally be blown over because his balance isn't that great.
I'm thinking I have an incorrectly snapped on Spidey - is this the case?

We've had the same problem with our first Spidey but somehow Joe managed to twist him back correctly.

I might try to twist him back correctly - that's a good idea!
My first thought was to pull his body off and snap it back on correctly, but that seems like a bad idea, although in the end super glue/poxy would probably fix any damage I might do.
However, twisting sounds better to try first.
Glad to know that I'm not the only one who has this problem!

One of mine looked backwards, but he should move at the shoulders, try rotating him down...that might be the problem...it worked for mine.

I second Webhead on that one. I initially thought something was wrong with my spidey, but I just had to push his body way down toward the pole. And, incidentally, I have to hold him there or his strike is too high and misses a lot of figures. (But when he's held there his arms look like they're going to pop out of the sockets.)

Thanks for the suggestions!
I got my Spider-Man turned around the right way. I feel silly for not thinking of it myself because it was so easy to do. One arm does look like it might pop out of the socket at some point, but I'd rather have that happen than to have him remain backwards and not ever used.

Interesting - I may have just gotten lucky with my Pole-Dancer Spidey, but I just had to twirl his torso 180 degrees around his pole to make him kick nicely. And incidentally, I love Pole-Dancing Spidey's attack, especially compared to Kicker Kenobi. I just have to twist his base counterclockwise when I want to strike with him to get the maximum striking foot length, then hold his extended leg right next to my target. He can even send Western Ghost Rider 15 Tix across the table to knock down Blackheart rather consistently and powerfully, from my experience.
