I was looking for others opinions on the quality of marvel attacktix. Personally I think the quality is very poor. So far I have gotten a wallow that needed major work on the missile just for it to shoot, I got a gambit that had a broken thumb in the package, and my nephew just got a doc-oct that is missing the bottom two arms.I also have two electro's that can't shoot their missiles past their own feet and one that has a silent tix and lets not talk about the two different color missiles he comes with if you are lucky. Then there is the issue with a few ghost rider chains being week and all the miss spellings on the figures. So far I am disappointed in them.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to agree with you on that one. Out of the 2 starter sets and 10 boosters I've purchased, too many had to be returned to the store right away.
Strikers that didn't strike: Blackheart Electra Captain America Beast
And I got a Pyro that was backwards on his base, which would have annoyed me even more than "Western Ghost Ridrer!"
Looks like they need to get some better quality control in China... ; )

well, I only have one booster. I got M14 Venom and M1 Spidey. Venom is great but spidey, his springs broke. I can barley take out troopers!!

Overall, I am quite pleased with the quality of the Marvel set. Mistakes like the color of Gambit's Cards and the incorrect spelling of Ghost Rider are minor details that do not have an impact on the playability of the figures. Hasbro does need to pay more attention to detail for collectors' sake, but I do not think any kid will notice these slight discrepencies. With regards to springs and figures' functionality, all of my figures work quite well. The only ones that do not work so well are the ones that were poorly designed to begin with, which has nothing to do with their quality. Very few of my Star Wars figures have springs as strong as those in my Elektra, Doc Ock, Gambit, Mystique, Beast, Daredevil, and Ghost Rider. But I do have one big complaint. The Booster #9 Wolverine is quite possibly the worst figure in the world. First of all, his prodder goes out about a quarter of an inch. Second, I have two and one is missing a part and one is imparied. The first Wolverine I pulled was missing the the big blue hand cover that goes over his prodder. His entire metal prodder is exposed. The second Wolverine I pulled has a plastic nubby piece that gets caught on the opening of the hand. The prodder already sucks to begin with, but this one barely works because the plastic piece gets caught and takes away most of the momentum. Because of this I appreciate my no hand Wolverine, which can knock down figures much better, but not nearly at the rate that a ideal prodder should. All in all, I am very happy with the Marvel figures and their quality with the exception of the horrific Booster #9 Wolverine.

Me and my brother have had a very good experience with the marvel figures. We have had only two minor problems with figures. One of are poll kicking spiderman stuck in mid swing but all that needed was a little lube and that was fixed. Then one of or beast came apart but with a little super glue it was an easy fix. We are very happy with the quality of the figures.

Oh, and my Electra struck my Venom so hard that it broke one of her sais! I honestly doesn't know whether that's good or bad!

I honestly haven't had too many problems in this area. My only complaint is a Venom that has a weak strike. Other than that, I can't really complain. Maybe I am just lucky. ;D

Just FYI for all with broken attacktix or problems right out of the box: make sure you contact Hasbro. They will send you coupons or refund your $$. I know we've gotten coupons for free boosters in the past for sending back broken figures.
Plus, it helps with QC (quality control) for the company to track.

There is also an email link on their website and they sent me coupons off new boosters equal to the value of all the broken figures. Call or email them about it. They will replace them at 'blind booster' value. You won't necessarily get the same figure, but it is worth it to contact them.

I got a pole swinging Spider Man with a semi-melted head and upper torso that you couldn't even move the legs on. Its face is still there, but its blackened and has some melt marks on it. You couldn't even pull the leg back to swing at all, it would not move.
I used WD-40 on it and now it swings fairly identically to my other one, but its still ugly.

I must have the worst luck with this series. I just pulled a Thor and was so happy until i noticed his thumb was broken off like the gambit i got. Also his strike is the worst. First of all his arm is so weak that it bends at the elbow as soon as there is any tension on the spring. He is by far the weakest striker i have ever seen. I would take a series 4 royal guard over him. I am about ready to give up on marvel if not attacktix all together.
