I have not used him much and don't plain on it because I don't think he is that good however if i did i think i would just do the same thing.

I really think you need to give him more of a chance. I have found him to be a very good figure. As a shooter he is a bit tricky to aim, I have a bit of trouble hitting anything over about 8 tix away. But put him right next to someone close enough to strike, then shot at a single figure near by, and strike down the closer one. Works every time I try it.

I think Cap is awesome! Yes, a little hard to control, but with patience comes rewards.

You can do a mid-powered strike and still kill something with the shield attached without losing it and then fire. It can be done. You just don't pull all the way back.
I wonder what the rule is though. I know that you can not bother to reload your launchers at the start of your turn, and then do it right before you attack. I'm not sure what the rule would be if the projectile fell out of the launcher during a strike. Captain America is the first figure with both attacks.

I know that you can not bother to reload your launchers at the start of your turn, and then do it right before you attack. You can't do this if you are playing by official rules. If you don't reload a figure at the start of your turn then move that figure... forget it. Once a figure moves it cannot be reloaded. I find that this is a rule I have to bring up often when I play with someone new. If they are about to move an unloaded figure I'll stop them and remind them that they can't reload once they start to move that figure. In fact you can't reload any of your figures once you move one. It seems, in Attacktix, that there are 2 phases of your turn, Movement & Attack. But there are actually more. First is the Reload phase (and effects figures like R2 are spun now), then the Movement phase and lastly the Attack phase. You can even count the Special Power phase as the fourth.
