What is the release date again? I need to rob someone or something for 'tix money.... ;D No exact release date but everyone is assuming that it will be by Black Friday we'll see 'em, as Hasbro has said they will be out in time for Xmas. (not sure about ghostrider though...that may be not till it's movie merchandise hits the stores).

Wow what a wonderous sculpt on GR, this figure alone might make getting his starter set worth it for me

So, she is strikingly similar to the Jedi Knight with regard to her most basic of characteristics except she moves 12 instead of 10....OK.
Note to self: get 10 Electras...(heh heh heh)

Note to self: get 10 Electras...(heh heh heh) While Elektra does get the extra 2 tix worth of speed, her special power is completely worthless in a squad of ten, unlike the Jedi Knight and Wicket. I'd personally rather have the usable power than the extra 2-4 tix.

Not on your life. at least not with the JK, maybe wicket though. Anyway it looks like the dagger has a flater striking area then we've seen before so that should be interesting.

The usefulness of Elecktra depends entriely on the usefulness of Daredevil, if he ends up being the Marvel equivalent of Grievous or Vader (somehow) then Electra will get a lot of useage, if not... well people used to play the neimodian guards and they were more expensive and shooters back when it was only S1, people might just like her for her or if they have Daredevil use her for the hell of it.

I have to say, that flesh-colored sai is pretty distracting, and makes it look really unfinished.

I'd personally rather have the usable power than the extra 2-4 tix. At first, I'd disagree with you, grievous. The probabilities of the JK/Wicket special powers coming up white are so low as to be nearly a non-factor most of the time, in my games. Offhand, I'd rather have the 2-4 extra Tix, as they would allow me to overtake any other 10-pointer team (except for a team of S2 Grievous bodyguards, who seem like much weaker strikers than Elektra will be). However, after thinking about it a bit, Team 10JK's Attackback might still allow them to pull out a victory, if they're every bit as aggressive as a 10-Elektra team's speed would allow it to be. If Elektra is just as capable of getting multiple knockdowns as JK is (perhaps more so, with the broader striking surface?), then it'll really be a contest between her and the JK for supremacy in the 10-pointer swarm squad. Here's how I see battles between them playing out: Both Teams Elektra10 and 10JK charge each other without stacked bases, in an almost desperately random formation. If Elektra10 has a greater probability of getting multiple knockdowns (or more powerful multiple knockdowns) than 10JK, it might be curtains for 10JK. However, if not, and 10JK's Attackback can fire just once to take down 2 additional Elektras, there'll be no escape for the - princess? no, not really - this time If Elektra10 or 10JK stay back toward the starting line, they'll just be that much more clumped together than the other team, leaving the reluctant/cowardly team more vulnerable to 2-4 figure knockdowns. In any case, she's a 10-point striker, rather than a 20-point small missile shooter, so the comparisons of her to the Neimoidian Guard are hardly apt Even with a useless special power, she represents a tremendously powerful attack with practically no cost.

I think what Yodabreaker is trying to say is that it doesnt matter what Electras special is. What matters is the movement advatages and striking. I for one would have to agree.

My comparisons between her and the guard are only based on their shared special, my point was if people used the neimodians back in S1, who were 20 point shooter (making them expensive trooper with no double knockdown capabilities) with reletivly bad specials (giving another 30 point small shooter a free move and attack) then people will definitly use Elektra and she'll definitly have a spot on Marvel squads.

As far as my Elektra vs. Jedi Knight/Wicket comments goes, I still would rather have at least one free move and attack/skip opponent's attacks next turn than the extra speed. The lack in speed is more than made up for. All it takes is just a tiny bit of strategy in figure movement.
Now, with Punisher, all I have to say is flippin' sweet. Awesome bullet and an interesting power. It works well on a shooter like him but I'm wondering who else could get the Last Stand power. I'm thinking Boba Fett could have it in the future, along with Dinobot if they ever make Beast Wars attacktix. Very neat figure.
