I'm hoping that in the future they do a set with all the Constructicons and somehow work a Devastator power in with them. Maybe have the whole Constructicon team as a 100 point team. Then a Devastator Mega could be made and the Constructicons will have a power something like "If you have all 6 Constructicons in play, you may remove all your Constructicons from the game and place Devastator in one of their places. You may do this ony once per game". This would show the Constructicons combining to form Devastator.
Then, if Devastator is removed it could have a special power like "You may return 3 of your Constructicons back to your starting area". This could show that he was defeated and by only returning 3 Constructicons, it would be as if half of the Constructicons were damaged while still in Devastator form.
What do you think?

As a mega, what would his attack be, I think he should have a dual firing rocket for like his eye beams, and a lifting claw like omega. And stable too so hes hard to take out.

Huge, dual slamming fists, (like The Thing's attack) would be nice.
Also, instead of having a 100 pt. team with the 6 Constructicons, make them 10 pts. or something, then when they combine, it would just add their pt. values, making Devastator 60 pts. That would also leave room for a larger party, incase Devastator fails you miserably.
Though, that would mean you'd have to have Devastator in your backups, making 60 pts. already to much for a 100 pt. game...

It probably could be done through the use of a figure with an effect... like Teamwork Spider-Man.
"If you have 4 different members of the [Faction] then you may send those figures to the defeated pile and replace them with Mega."
But, looking at it now, it would require a whole new class/faction... and as mentioned above it could only be 50 pts to be on a 100 point team.

That is such a great idea, and would work so well for constructicons. It could be like "If you have all 6 constructicons in play, move them to the defeated pile and put Devastator into play.". I would think that Scrapper would be the best candidate to have the special to trigger Devastator.

I don't remember the tech specs specifying who was the team leader, but Scrapper always acted like he was it. BUT, once your opponent figured out that only Scrapper could bring in Devastator, that could lead to problems. Maybe half of them can summon Devastator, and the other half can 'Recover' fallen Constructicons.

Just thought of something. Medas are not tournament legal. Therefor making specials call in a mega will likely never happen... Unless those figures that call it in are also not tournament legal.

Well, if Hasbro made a set of sorts that packaged all of the Constructicons in with Devastator (rather than having it packaged with just one additional figure), and gave those Constructicons - oh, I dunno...red bases to set them apart? - then such a set becomes feasible And maybe the point total for the Constructicons all together is precisely double the cost for Devastator?

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. Like the total sum of all the constructicons would be 100 points, and then devastator would cost 50. That would be extremely cool if they did something like that. But still, I think it would keep you from playing the special constructicon team in a tournament.

Yeah, that's why I was thinking of having something like red bases to make it utterly obvious they wouldn't be considered legal. It seems important that if this were a Mega-centric set, it'd be important to make the bases clearly different from those of other figures. Still, I like the original idea, maybe with the use of an effect (as Joe suggested) instead of a special power to bring Devastator in.

given that it would be something entirly new to the attacktix range they may just change the rules....after all games such as warhammer have had about 6 rule changes so it's all together possible
