Hiyas all, Im new to the game but not to gaming in general. After hunting for a transformers game for a while and having little success with creating my own rules I took the plunge and looked into Attacktix. I was dubious since I'm old school G1 and tried to watch the Cybertron series and had little draw to it, but in my first pack I pulled Starscream Chrome which sealed my fate. There is something simple and almost kiddy fun about this game which I find appealing so I'll have to get this happening in our next gaming session. Having build numerous terrain pieces and terrain tables I'm going to tackle a project for this game, most likely something on the lines of Autobot City from the movie special. The following pics are my G1 repaints, and some more conversions will follow in time. Behold G1 Starscream and Thundercracker, still need some highlights which I might just omit since these figs will undoubtably get knocked and chipped. And in the blueprints are Wheeljack, Blast off, and Aerialbots. Enjoy and once again greetings all.

I'm new to this Atacktix thing as well though not new to Transformers. I actually recognize a few names from around.
Anyway I'd been holding out on these for money and space reasons but found the Galactic Showdown pack for 5 dollars on Clearance. Too good to pass up. Now I'm itching to get some boosters to expand my line up a bit.

I found the set at Wal-Mart in Taylorville Illinois. Wal-Mart tends to be highly irregular on thier clearance though from store to store.

Wal-Marts indeed are irregular. In Springfield there are two wal-marts on opposite ends of town. I've seen one of them have clearance th other does not and visa versa, on the same day. I wonder how much profit one could make buying clearance at one store and returning it acros town to the other.
