I have both of the figures you mentioned.
First, Battle Ravage rocks. Unfortunately, I don't have another so his power is worthless but the figures still a ton of fun to use.
Second, many people on the boards have had an odd thing with Excelion because it seems like everyone gets tons of the poor guy and he's hated for it. I have one and he's a decent addition to a team. Constantly sacrificing troopers makes him good but he's a bit costy.
Overall, I'd say you got a decent booster. In my opinion, a perfect booster would contain something like Rodimus and either mode of Super Optimus or another good booster would be an Insecticon and Scorponok. Still, you got a "Rare" figure you wanted and a decent Super Rare to boot.

I just picked up my first Attacktix last night. I bought 3 booster packs, and today I'll hit Wal*Mart and look for the Starter set w/ bonus Decepticlone.
What I got yesterday:
1st booster: Battle Ravage Landmine
2nd booster: Omnicon Megatron (jet) (chrome chase)
3rd booster: Mini-Con Vector Prime
I've played around with the figs, but haven't played an actual game yet. Looks to be fun, though.
My Landmine's melee weapon won't stay locked in place, unfortunately: if you push it in, it will sloooowly work its way out before finally firing completely. So it's still useable, at least, but it'll have to remain deployed while playing.

Welcome to the board saltmanz.
Those are some pretty nice pulls you got... I think I bought 12 boosters before I got a vector prime.

So it's still useable, at least, but it'll have to remain deployed while playing. I have this problem with one of my Landmines, too. When you push it in, can you also push down the firing pin? Then when you let go of the firing pin, it MAY stay locked, though I am sure your issue could differe from mine.

Actually, the firing pin never really pops back up once the claw's been pushed in. I've been assuming that that's part of the problem.
