I'm not sure if this has been touched on in any of the rules so far but let me know what you think:
After attacking with your figure, and before you take your hands off of it, is it legal to reposition it (move arms down/up and/or turn figure at the torso)? Or do you have to leave it in the state that it is in once the attack is complete?
After shooting especially, the figure's center of balance changes once the missile is launched, so lowering the arm(s) helps to balance it a little better.
Is this something that is commonly done, or is this a 'no-no'? Everyone I play with is undecided on this subject, so I wanted to see if there is a 'right or wrong' with this.

Our house rules are that it is ok. However, the official rule is that it's a no-no.

BEFORE you shoot, you can do as you wish with movement. AFTER you shoot, you may not so much as sneeze on the figure... if his arms are at a seriously disadvantaged position, too bad...that's Hasbro's rules.
Also - there are no do-overs. If you move 10 tix with a 10-tix figure then realize you have put him in a bad position, this is not Chess, you are stuck there.

Thanks guys! One other question I have: (this has happened MANY times) Once you shoot, you can't reload until your next turn. Numerous times I have shot someone at point-blank range and not only have they not fallen (S. Optimus! ), but the missile did not even fully leave the launcher. My house rule for this is to remove the loose missile from the launcher, but this would also affect the balance (and often time to do this, moving the figure is necessary). What do you think about this?

In that situation our house rules are to fully remove the missile too.
I don't think there has ever been an "official" ruling about this though.

In that situation our house rules are to fully remove the missile too. that is also our house rule as well as not moving the figure after shooting.

I concur with the lovely and talented Phoenix, and the esteemed master Grizz: if the projectile leaves the barrel but stops due to a sudden, abrupt impact with any other figure's skull, clavicle, or other prime impact point (hopefully), it is removed until that figure is allowed to shoot again via being called into play by a Special or the player's next turn. Now if it misfires and is stuck halfway out without an impact, at my crib we call that a weapons jam and in it stays, however far out it is. Tough thing in combat....

Alas, young Grizzhopper, someday you too will be the master, and I the pupil. ;D I've had it happen twice (once to me, and once against me). When my fortune was to fail, it was a Battle Droid that misfired; upon inspection there was a burr on the missile that caught in the spring and held it in place. Incidentally, it was VERY hard to get out.
When my opponent's jammed, it was Grievous S1, and the missile was fine...to this day it remains a mystery.
